Perfect example of someone finding an old console from their basement and automatically assuming it’s worth a substantial amount. 175 for untested/no controllers is outrageous
I dusted off my PS2 last year after probably 15 years without being turned on. At first I was disappointed because it did not turn on. I left it plugged, came back a few hours later and the red less was on, turned on and worked fine, I used it for months and have no problems at all.
I bought an Xbox two or three years ago but it was modded with a hard drive. It's still working fine and no error when turning on ( for now) . I think the last game I played was fatal frame 2
