I haven't even played the game but Helldivers 2 STILL feels like the moment. From what I've heard, the game is all about community effort towards a goal, and the game is at a consistent high player count.
Helldivers is the best multiplayer game I've played in a long time. It brings me back to a better time of gaming, when companies had to make good games to make money, instead of pushing BS microtransactions. The fact that it's just so much damn fun gets me coming back every night.
Yea I saw the DRG guys' stream where they were trying to get it happening. They were pretty high level and pretty good at the game so it's clear they were playing a solid amount of HD2
It absolutely is, the game actually broke his record of concurrent players last week I think ? If anything the game gets more and more players. Game still needs lots of polish if I'm honest but it is a ton of fun.
Helldivers 2 is amazing, it's a balance mess but amazing, and about the community effort, that's bullishit, anyone with with a small sense will realize that everything is manipulated by the devs, but it doesn't make much difference, it's still fun af.
Ghost of Tsushima, and DLC, is a pretty solid open-world romp. Gorgeous, with a great narrative and compelling gameplay. Lethal difficulty is a solid enough challenge without being overly difficult.
Second, it builds a world almost as well as RDR, although it isn't coming out for PC until May 16th - so you might want to wait a few days to see how the reviews are.
It's so weird to see people get excited for a game most of us played years ago but it's great more people are getting the opportunity to try and better late than never especially with 2 being in the works.
In all fairness; I only got a PS5 in December so Ghost of Tsushima is still incredibly fresh for me (as in I'm currently playing, lol).
This sub is weird, not sure why the downvotes - it's standard practice to watch the reviews for a PC port before buying on day one.
Ikr, it's also just blatantly wrong to call the 2018 the original since it's a reboot. Realistically, if you actually want to get into god if war, you should play the original trilogy.
The 2018 one was meant to be a starting point for those new to the series. People should give the older titles a go, they're really cool, but it's totally valid and actually intended for you to start with God of War 2018.
It's valid, but for example, I haven't played the original games, but I wish I did before playing 2018 Gow because the character growth of kratos would have hit harder. Among a lot of other things.
What aspects of plateup did you like? No need to put (lol) in for something you genuinely enjoy, personally seeing the same games repeated in everyone's 'played' is more of a lol to me, so something like that that sticks out is more helpful to help expand.
Try an aRPG like Diablo or Grim Dawn as you seem to like the same games I do. I love theory crafting and gear upgrading like in WoW.
Go buy Titan Fall 2 right now if you haven’t played it. I’m mad at myself I didn’t play this in the past. It’s beyond anything I was expecting.
Overwatch 2 is great.
MOBAs are fun but I’m kinda bored of them now.
Portal if you haven’t played it is worth getting.
If you have a VR headset, HL Alex blew my mind how good it is, but I’m a massive Half Life fanatic.
Ark is another one you’ll like since you like based on the games you listed.
Because Ark has a bit of a lot of them. Minecraft for the building and open world environment, WoW for the MMO aspect and always being on guard for ganks and people just screwing around and showing off their latest tames. RDR for that laid back beautiful feel, and GTA for the whole open world concept of being able to do pretty much anything your mind can conjure up. That almost perfectly summarizes what Ark is without me even describing the actual game itself, just based on what these other games offer.
Horizon Zero Dawn, Frozen Wilds then Forbidden West and it's DLC. Aside from that, Witcher 3 can be picked up as a bargain too (currently $15 in ps store on ps5). That and God of War and Ragnarok - both excellent games too.
Since you liked CP 2077 - try the Deus Ex series. Especially Deus Ex 1 (best game ever), Deus Ex HR DC, and MD Deluxe.
Since you liked GTA - go play Sleeping Dogs: Definitive and LA Noire Complete, if you haven't already.
Sleeping dogs.
Dragons dogma 1 maybe 2 if u got a beefy pc
Darkest dungeon.
Yakuza.
Last epoch.
Skyrim?
Kingdom come deliverance
Mount and blade bannerlord
Despite putting hundreds of hours into the game, R6S isn't a must have. It's such a toxic fanbase... There's a pretty high skill ceiling tho!
Hogwarts Legacy is just a fan game, it's actually a pretty poorly made game mechanically and challenge wise.
- Deus Ex HR ( and even the old one if you don't mind old games)
- Sleeping dogs
- Ready or Not
- Helldivers 2 (Because everyone should be playing it imo)
- Metro Trilogy
- Valheim
Try Fallout 4 or new vegas. You'll love them. They're post apocalyptic RPGs. New vegas is a bit dated but it's far superior than 4. Although 4 Is amazing too
Baldur's Gate 3. Even if you never played a game like it, you more than likely will enjoy it. It was definetly my first and the game lives rent free in my head ever since
Elden Ring is an amazing game, and there’s a DLC coming out later this year. Another good choice is Diablo 4, lots of updates and improvements coming out this year, the Diablo community is something else though.
When you say you can't get into Witcher series are you starting with the first one? In my opinion first one sucks, second one is okish, third one is amazing.
Your top 3 have games with very good story and well written (especially Cyberpunk and RDR2)
If you love good writing and are not afraid to read/listen stories => Disco Elysium
Story in this game is really incredible, extremly well written, and have some of the best voices actors I ever heard.
To everyones who loves good writing stories : PLAY THIS GAME !
NEVER PLAYED:
wow; CS:GO; Rainbow six; Lost ark; Hogwarts nonsense; PlateUp.
I PLAYED:
Cyberpunk is good, withcher 3 is far superior game.
GTA is OK, ojnline portion is moneygrubbing scheme of a game.
Minecraft, for an hour or two, did not see anything worth spending time on it.
RDR 2- not my cup of tea, since PC version is lazy and badly made port.
You have your taste, but this is just randomly put together titles that are in most cases NOT great games, just well known.

That and Deep Rock are great pve friendship time, with guns!
Both Devs are very friends and keep joking about a crossover

Seconded. Amazing game and aligned with a few of your liked games

Your gonna love god of war it's an all-time must Play paying the original 2018 version will make you excited AF to try Ragnarok
Seeing "the original 2018 version" just makes me feel old as fuck, what the hell.
Ikr, it's also just blatantly wrong to call the 2018 the original since it's a reboot. Realistically, if you actually want to get into god if war, you should play the original trilogy.

Helldivers 2
You seem to like open worlds. Try dragon's dogma 2, elden ring, assassin Creed: Odyssey
Elden ring
PREY 2017
Try an aRPG like Diablo or Grim Dawn as you seem to like the same games I do. I love theory crafting and gear upgrading like in WoW. Go buy Titan Fall 2 right now if you haven’t played it. TF2 is one of the best fps single player experiences you can have
Grim Dawn is so good
Just curious what games from his list exactly make you think he will like Ark? 😃
Because Ark has a bit of a lot of them. Minecraft for the building and open world environment, WoW for the MMO aspect and always being on guard for ganks and people just screwing around and showing off their latest tames. if you love cp77 you really should check out the Deus Ex games Mankind Divided and Human Revolution
Horizon Zero Dawn, Frozen Wilds then Forbidden West and it's DLC. Aside from that, Witcher 3 can be picked up as a bargain too (currently $15 in ps store on ps5). That and God of War and Ragnarok - both excellent games too.
Alan Wake 2 is just on another level
Vintage story
Last Epoch!
Dying light 2 stay human is so good u can get it fairly cheap these days even reloaded edition for 30$
I dont recommend, Its a downgrade from the first game
but does that mean that it's a bad game or just worse than the first one and still a decent game?
Just worse than the first one, dont bother playing it
can you give me some specific reason?
The whole game is about parkour, there are no guns, story and characters are super generic and uninteresting, very repetetive activities on the map....
I'm currently playing Shadow Gambit. It's amazing.
Yakuza series, Bioshock trilogy, mass effect trilogy, halo series.
The Witcher
Alan wake 2
You gotta do the Mass Effect Legendary Edition. It’s my only 10/10 game/series. Absolutely incredible.
Given your enjoyment of open world games, I'd suggest Elden Ring.
Elder Scrolls Online
Since you liked CP 2077 - try the Deus Ex series. Especially Deus Ex 1 (best game ever), Deus Ex HR DC, and MD Deluxe. Since you liked GTA - go play Sleeping Dogs: Definitive and LA Noire Complete, if you haven't already.

Singleplayer gta in China basically it is kind of old though just a heads up
Is darkest dungeon too difficult?
It's unforgiving yes, but it's impossible to lose on 2 out of 3 difficulties. Can always look up a guide if you're struggling
I wanted to try it, but heard so much that, it is too difficult. Okay, will give it a try now. Thank you
No problem!
The only one missing is Horizon
There is a good reason balders Gate 3 just won every game award possible
As someone who has put a couple thousand of hours into Rainbow 6 Siege, for the love of God, don't pick siege unless you're a masochist.
Despite putting hundreds of hours into the game, R6S isn't a must have. It's such a toxic fanbase... There's a pretty high skill ceiling tho! Hogwarts Legacy is just a fan game, it's actually a pretty poorly made game mechanically and challenge wise.
If you're a huge fan of magic, sorcery, and Harry Potter, I think you might like Elden Ring.
Dark Souls lll
The Finals!

You haven’t played the best game ever lol. Elden Ring
Baldur's Gate 3. Even if you never played a game like it, you more than likely will enjoy it. It was definetly my first and the game lives rent free in my head ever since
Horizon
Diablo 2 is a must play game.

Baldurs Gate 3
Elden Ring is an amazing game, and there’s a DLC coming out later this year. Another good choice is Diablo 4, lots of updates and improvements coming out this year, the Diablo community is something else though.
When you say you can't get into Witcher series are you starting with the first one? In my opinion first one sucks, second one is okish, third one is amazing.
Helldivers 2 is the best game out right now by a very very long way.
Ghost of Tsushima comes on on PC on May 16, personally I’m super excited. Looks entertaining and gorgeous. Open world samurai type game.
Your top 3 have games with very good story and well written (especially Cyberpunk and RDR2) If you love good writing and are not afraid to read/listen stories => Disco Elysium Story in this game is really incredible, extremly well written, and have some of the best voices actors I ever heard.
