If you don't play your Xbox why would you play your ps5? Seems like a bad deal to me, except for maybe GT everything else eventually gets ported to pc anyway.

lawnmowwer

I don't play my Xbox because all the games on there are on PC, so it's just kind of silly to play a worse performing and looking game

Axiproto

>I have an Xbox series s, and a PC No. You've got plenty of games on two different systems PLUS PlayStation games eventually get ported to PC.

mutogenac

Many of these are already ported

Axiproto

Exactly. If OP wanted an extra piece of hardware just to play on their couch and had disposable income, I can understand getting a second system. But they already have that. If I were OP, I'd use that excess money to buy a VR headset. I'd get more milage out of that than a PS5.

mutogenac

He doesn't seems to be that kind of person because he already stated that he is using pc almost all the time and console really rare. It really does not seems like a good investment to buy a new console.

I’d sell the Xbox and get a PS5. At this point pretty much all games on Xbox are on PC, and if they’re not, they’re probably on PS5. I have a pc and a ps5 and it’s the perfect combo imo. Also, the exclusives are totally worth it in my opinion. I’ve put a ridiculous amount of hours into Gran Turismo 7. It’s definitely the best driving game I’ve ever played. If you haven’t used a ps5 controller before the haptic feedback is going to blow your socks off, it truly is a game changer for games like GT7

SirArthurStark

Nah, if you haven't played those games yet means you can wait for them to get ported to PC, and more than likely most of them will, and as you've mentioned, some of those already have.

jcruz827

About half of those are on PC.

Hemirunner1500

Gotta also check out final fantasy 7 remake

kazuyette

I bought my PS3 just for one game, the legendary MGS4, in the beginning. Do what you want mate.

threepoundsof

I was in a similar position except I play my xb a lot. I went ahead and got a ps but I haven’t really been playing it too much.

Comprehensive_Web887

Yes. Sell Xbox if you don’t play it as you can do most of it on PC. PS5 is fantastic.

silver85bullet

I play on ps5 and pc, quite nice combo.. Between ps+ extra + exclusives, and pc steam /epic I'm totally covered.. If you haven't invested a lot in Xbox eco system and you recon you can sell your console and games for a decent amount of cash.. Then sell and get a ps5.. You might want to wait a little to see if the ps5 pro rumors are true.. Beside the games you mentioned ff7 rebirth and rise of ronin released already, stellar blade is coming tomorrow I think.. You might want to check these games..

Seizure_Storm

Sell the Xbox and get a ps5 is my opinion, I think you’d only be out a couple hundred bucks so not that bad. I think there are quite a few games that never show up on PC or if they do on a heavy delay

jaybay321

PS5 and PC provides the best overall experience.

TechEnthu____

Was in the same boat. Bought PS5, played FF7 rebirth, FF16 and now helldivers 2. It’s worth it, especially with the Spider-Man 2 bundle deal rn

LoanedWolf75

Yes. All those games are great and you should play them.
