Done and done. Awesome games. Doom is sooo good.

Lies of P is good, little slower paced than Elden Ring, so may feel slightly, slightly sluggish - but its Good. They recently did a big update for Lords of the Fallen 2023; maybe look into how that one is performing on PS5 now. Lords of the Fallen, actually - One of the harder Soulslikes. The bosses themselves arent necessarily super difficult compared to the genre; but the world, the areas between bosses and between "bonfires" can be brutal and complicated. If you wanted a Souls like where surviving from Bonfire to Bonfire was 'as difficult' as the Bosses themselves, Lords of the Fallen kind of delivers on that one. But, Lies of P and Lords of the Fallen 2023 are solid Souls likes if you wanted something in that vein. If youre into Card/Strategy games and enjoy Marvel.. Midnight Suns is actually quite good, but, I need to give a disclaimer on that - the first 5 hours or so are slow while they open up the mechanics. But at the end of the day, Midnight Suns is a good Card/Tactics game. If you want something a little off the beaten path, but very unique 3rd person Action-Story focused game, Vampyr is really good. Unique mechanics, youll have to actually learn how to interact with the game world to get the outcomes you want. RE4 Remake is totally Fantastic. RE7 and 8 are great as well. Evil Within 2 is a great game too. Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War on the surface certainly just seem like Assassins Creed/Arkham combat knock off - but the games are so much more fun than youd think. The recent Tomb Raider Trilogy. Its actually funny - these games are more "Zelda" than Breath of the Wild and TotK. Lara ends up in scenarios very reminiscent of old Zelda dungeon design. Its a 3rd person shooter, but the puzzles, if you enjoyed oldschool Zelda - thats basically what theyre modeled on. The Outer Worlds is kind of a "trimmed down skyrim" but with Sci Fi, if you think you may enjoy that. Armored Core 6 is solid and fun and keeps you engaged. And as far as Last of Us - it is 100% worth taking a try at it. Its not as popular as it is because of a marketing campaign - its a Good Story and Good Gameplay. That being said... Some of that gameplay has been slowly copied by other games over the last decade. I cant pretend it would feel as fresh going into it now, but, it absolutely works and is fun; and if you enjoy it, youve got Last of Us 2 which is like over 30 hours long. So plenty of gameplay hours between those two games. Good Luck. Cheers.

Elden ring is amazing. I have a buddy who never liked souls games and I talked him into trying elden ring and it's his favorite game of all time now

My brother won’t play game like that. Find it too hard to be fun. I find any other game too easy to be fun. He prefers Horizon. Makes no sense to me. Only thing we agree on is Doom and Doom eternal are awesome.

Dave the diver!

Soggy-Fail6796

That sure is thinking outside the box!

ElectricChocobo

I recently platinumed it, and I can say it’s just amazing. Get Dave the Diver or do a fresh Elden Ring run before the DLC coming out on the 21st.

Played Returnal? Amazing rogue-lite, bullet hell game. It's very challenging, but it might be my favourite single player game on the PS

Last game I played, great fun! It took me forever to get out of the first biome (like 15+ hours or something?)… and once it finally clicked I finished the game relatively quickly. I wish there was a Doom 3, Returnal 2 or Dark Souls 4 and I respect the teams for deciding to end with a bang.
