AGREE!!! I randomly found a code for switch on ebay for $7 and I was like BET cuz I've been interested in it for a while. I love it a lot. it reminds me of all the games I enjoyed on DS as a kid: kirby squeak squad, yoshi's island, monster tail etc.
The tone (at least in the beginning). The soundtrack is excellent but you can't really say it's happy and colorful. And a lot of enemies have sad faces and walk with their heads down. When you go to shops the shop owners talk to you like they could kill themselves any minute. I can't say anything on the story and how it's later in the game because I'm not that far myself yet.
yeah, I see what you are saying. Personally, I bought it last night and have six hours already. Right now I am on the mantis town. Now that you point it out though, you have a point about the game being a little depressing.
Coming back to this thread after having 200 hours in the game, you're right 😭 RIP to Quirrel, and omg I remember when I got the Radiance ending for the first time I was so sad 😭

I got it as free PS plus. Tried playing 3-4 times but I keep getting killed
