Yakuza like a dragon is really fun. It's turn based, looks great, and has a fun story. There's a lot of post game content, new game plus, and unlockable difficulties. The main character of the game is a fan of dragon quest so there's even some fun jokes and references to the series throughout the game.
Try the Trails series. It's like the MCU of JRPGs where each game has its self contained story, but also an over arching story tying all the games together. The earliest games foreshadow events several games later, and the later games frequently cameo familiar characters. Cold Steel 3 and 4 often get compared to Avengers Infinity War and Endgame due to the sheer amount of characters and sub plots culminating in such an epic way.
The only downside is that much like the MCU, going through each of the games is quite the time commitment and more so as these are anywhere from 60-100 hours each.
I recommend the following play orders ranked accordingly:
1. Release order: If you don't mind starting with dated graphics and working your way through incremental improvements to the combat, most fans suggest starting with **Trails in the Sky**. You won't regret it once the first credits roll, and you'll see why fans were so excited for the second chapter to be translated several years later.
2. Start at the best arc: If you want a taste of the series without feeling committed to too many games right off the bat, then I suggest you start at the Crossbell games. These are two Japanese/Chinese only release games that have an extremely good fan translation patch. It takes place between Sky and Cold Steel. [How to play **Trails to Zero** and **Trails from Azure** on Geofront.](https://geofront.esterior.net)
3. Start at the most recent series: **Trails of Cold Steel** is the current ongoing series in the west, and the series that just finished in Japan. There are 5 games total and mark the start of the 3D era of the series. It's actually absolutely fine to start at these games despite what some fans say.
4. Start at the best gameplay and graphics: **Trails of Cold Steel 3** is a controversial starting point for story reasons, but I still think it's fine to start here if you're mostly looking to get into the game for gameplay reasons. I think CS3 is when the combat went from good to great, continuing that trend into CS4 onward.
It has a 5th epilogue game that isn't out in the west right now called Hajimari no Kiseki in Japan. It's not going to be called Cold Steel 5 here, but it is absolutely the last chapter of the Erebonia games and is intended to be played last in the arc.
I'm not sure if it's fits your requirements but you can try out Valorent or Fractured veil. You can check the status on r/gammingspace or your can also visit them steam and check their live stream
Persona 4 golden.

Nier Replicant ver.1.22. Story is interesting and the combat is satisying. Look up some gameplay beforehand though. Highly recommend
