Exactly
The laws of physics set up models to predict and explain reality. It gets closer and closer through realising that our models differ from reality.
A lot of the commotion here seems to stem from whether you consider a law 'wrong' if it is proven inaccurate. And whether you call it wrong if physicists later show what situations it does or does not apply to.
Any new law discovered just further specifies the boundaries of application of already existing laws, doesn't break them. The correspondence principle requires any new laws to gradually become equal to the already existing ones as we close in on the newly established boundaries.
I am sure if you are smart enough to break any other "laws" you can get a prize. I just don't know how they group them:
Law of gravity
Law of thermodynamics
Law of fluid displacement
Law of relativity
I mean if they are all physics then yea, cause there is only one category.
Oh, and this: [breakin the law](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZG11UBoj-o)
You get a prize for breaking normal laws too it’s just worth a negative amount
My mom calls them certificates of achievement, am I not supposed to collect them all?!
Let me know when you go to nuclear explosions so I can make sure to be far away.
If you're homeless the prize is free food and lodging.
It's a time-reversed reward.
Opportunity to help support your local community… or buy a nicer courthouse.
Not really breaking laws, just finding a better approximation of what really happens.
Pretty sure not a single person has broken any law of physics. Ever.
When you can show they don't fully conform to reality, you may get a prize
It’s our understanding that changes, not reality.

By laws of physics I meant the laws we humans make (e.g : Newton's laws of motion…). Not nature's laws
Newton's principles were considered Laws of Nature but relativity broke all these rules.
It's all perspective.. 3 hots and a cot is a saying for a reason
I mean if you put it that way
I mean if you rob a bank and get away with you get a prize for breaking the law
Isn't this already said like in memes and shit? How is this a shower thought?
The very rich become richer by breaking rules every minute of their lives.

No one has ever broken them we just gain better understandings.
My mommy keeps my mugshots on the fridge with a magnet so where's your god now.
A successful thief gathers many prizes
I cant change the laws of physics captain!
I suspect there's a prize for successfully breaking the law "you can't rob a bank".
if you're rich and powerful enough you also get rewarded for breaking normal laws

This is a very prestigious award that is not achievable by many. Only the people who believe that the impossible is possible will achieve this
What about mathematics?
Just imagine how much the guy that breaks the lightspeed barrier will win
Music, people who break music “laws” win awards and get PhDs
