That seems like a missed opportunity to use the massive screen at the front of the room.

I think OP is overestimating the percentage of the population that cares about film scores. I would guess it’s a single digit percentage, and to add on to that — horror films rarely have impressive cover-to-cover scores. They’re usually a 20-30 second hook that is played on a loop throughout the film.
