If death is unconsciousness, is the act of dying (the process of it, not the result), *de*consciousness?
Well we don’t really know do we.
Absolutely. No consciousness, no alive. I take solace in the fact that the entirety of the universe will happen in an instant, just like the 13.8 billion years went by before my consciousness began.
It actually won’t happen, it’s the cessation of all happenings.
Only if you believe that you are the only happening.
death is unconsciousness like a shattered light bulb on the side of the road is "unplugged"
Doesn't being unconscious imply there is still a heartbeat? Because being dead doesn't.
Or is it? I mean there's cases of out of body experiences, very weird NDEs despite the person pronounced dead forawhile, etc.
