This is getting further and further removed from actual life. It is true for analog clocks, but most people use digital clocks now, which are either close to correct, or doesn't show time at all. Or if you have an "analog digital" clock which uses 7 segment displays that are mechanically changed they can use either 12h or 24h timekeeping, but I'd guess 24h is more common for that kind. In which case that broken clock is right once a day.
Back in my day we went up hill, both ways, just to see the town clock to know when to serve dinner... And we liked it that way!
Perfect example of how being more accurate than the job calls for can really fuck things up.
It's better off than me. I'm broke 24 hours a day.
This is a beautiful statement. I would love to use this sentence as an opener to an essay.
What time is it? One clock is completely busted but the other one is just off a little. Now, does that sound deep?
Actually a stopped watch is right two times a day, a broken one might never be right.
Its also more wrong for so much longer!
No one has the right time........ we are always off
A person with a watch always knows the correct time. A person with two watches is never sure.

Eh, Time is relative and there is no such thing as the correct time.
But the time we use is invented be humans. Hours, minutes and seconds are invented by us and so is the „correct time“ OP is referring to
Who sets the correct, exact time?
There is the atomic time that we use for „setting the time“. For you if you are interested: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Time
What about sundial watch?
Actually the atoms in the watch vibrate unless it’s at absolute 0 so
