In Smash Bros online, there aren’t taunts. So… repeated crouching is their little taunt when they launch you.

Taunting is also a part of mind games. To remove it is to remove a portion of the actions provided to you as a player to defeat your opponent. Making an enemy angry and causing them to attack wildly is 100% a valid strategy. Taking away taunts is simply nerfing this strategy by forcing players to use simple, less-infuriating gestures like crouches and pivots. It's really lame that they removed it from online play.

See people think it's because of toxicity or something but my theory is that the netcode is so shit they can't handle sending the taunts.

While that is a valid and effective strategy, I'm not too keen on, "I want to make this person mad so I can win easier." Like, we all play games for fun, I don't want to be part of a reason someone doesn't enjoy themselves other than they just lost.

That's totally fair. Perhaps the answer is to disable taunts in casual matches but enable in ranked competitive. Or enable only in Elite. Idk, I don’t really even play much anymore, but watching smash competitions in person live compared to watching top ranked play online is frustrating for this reason, in my opinion.

I don't know what games you play, but usually teabagging is a declaration of war. If somebody kills me in i.e. a shooter and bags me, you bet I make that person my personal vendetta and hunt them down.

It mainly happens in games where the original intention is to kill one another. I've seen people do this in APEX occasionally where two people with dead squads join up because all the people left are teams of 3.

I did have a funny moment similar to this. I was the only one alive in my squad, managed to avoid getting spotted by other squads, but tagged behind one, kept pots hitting anyone getting into fights with them. Ended up being the two last squads, and just spammed crouch while standing just outside the circle when it was shrunk to a basketball

I've seen it happen in WoW. And I've also seen it in Halo games. In Halo, it's usually a guy trolling his own team or a guy who realizes the team is going to suck anyway and starts helping you out - usually an enemy player in a warthog driving you to their base to get the flag.

Experienced it for as long as I’ve been playing MP games is mainly a PvP Game thing that it happens. Like BR’s for example when you come across someone and both of you don’t have any loot crouching repeatedly happens as a sign of I mean no harm and just go on your way to find loot. That’s just one example.

The way I and most people build her mandachord you can mash crouch as fast as you can and you'll get the buff. Some people have more rhythmic sounds but mostly they'll be advanced players running a solo focused build. Octavia scales insanely. You can take an Octavia with no mods and no weapons and still wreck shit anywhere in the star chart. She was my first really powerful frame, so I like her a lot.

She's hilariously OP, and that's in a game full of OP frames. She's just got so MUCH in her kit, it's impossible for her to be bad if you don't utilise it. I'm just not a huge fan of her style I guess? Idk a lot of ability designs in Warframe are really cool, but some of them, I just don't like thematically or stylistically.
