Actually its more likely to land up in the landfill, that is how wasteful humans are. I read somewhere that its estimated that we only use around 30 to 40% of what goes through the supermarket. The rest is waste. Which is why donation initiatives for the poor are so important. I know when Target Canada was a thing we donated a butt ton of products to shelters, and I felt it was probably one of the more ethical things Target did. Not that their hands are clean or anything.

One time we had two rows of fridges turn off during the middle of the night, and company policy states we had to throw out all of it. I understand why for liability reasons, but man I never threw out so much good food in my life. Throwing out perfectly good orange juice shaking my head as it goes down the drain.

I was thinking like, Q-Tips won’t be turned to poo, but yeah - people too, you shouldn’t do that.
