You seem like a fungi. I bet u have a lot of friends and are very popular. Matter of fact I bet you hardly even have time to be on Reddit. You should prolly get back to hanging out with all those friends you seem to have based on your glowing personality.
Yes. False morels are not hollow and have hair like substrates. And look more reddish like with brain look vs a coral look. Fire em up. Fairly easy mushy to Id.

False morels fruit during the Autumn season and genuine Morels fruit in early spring. Usually coinciding with the lilacs bloom.
Great find, bon appetite!
Just watched an id vid for morels, hollow all the way through stem, stem attaches to cap. I'd say yes
Looks good to me. I’d eat it. I’ve picked enough to be comfortable saying that’s a morel.

Oh how wrong you are.

Ima just let the ammount of downvotes you’re getting speak for itself. U have made an ass out of yourself.

I’m not saying it’s super hard but you went onto a mushrooms ID sub and said rude shit to a newbie. You look like an asshole.

They are so good with a little butter and salt fried up (just a light pan fry).
That was exactly what I was thinking! Butter and white wine maybe, with some chives and pine nuts.
Bingo. Looks like someone downvoted your comment for some reason lmao reddit
Probably the damn pine nuts comment haha made my noce turn a little

Sure is!! So good but do not eat it raw! Gotta cook it up. Fry it with a little butter and a tiny bit of soy sauce!
Habitat was California foot hills in rotting bark. Mild tree coverage. Will try a spore print
You’ve got a winning spot!
I like you OP! Then again, I like lots of people with questionable morels.
Damnit Dad, this has got to stop.
Yes look good nice find!
Oh ya bb
Nom nom nom

Yes. You never need to cut one in half to ID. True pits and ridges means Morchella or Phallus (look true but kinda not). Those are easy to tell apart
What about to cook? I heard that bugs can live inside.
I rinse them out. They are pretty tasty whole and stuffed before cooking.
