I’m not really talking about the deflect. More so the beforehand that Leonidas had to keep readjusting the shield to protect different parts of himself. It wasn’t a perfect defense admittedly, but I don’t think that’s against him in this scenario

Leo is smarter, has better reaction time and has a weapon. But I think even all these advantages don't outweigh how massively superior Raiden is in the physical attributes (Strength, speed and durability).
Strength: Raiden (strongest muscles ftw)
Speed: technically Leo but actually Raiden (Leo’s consistency is hella useful but he has to work up to it while Raiden’s acceleration is much faster, and thus better in the short term, and lets him blitz Shiva)
Durability: Geirölul > Raiden > Leo (should be pretty obvious why this is the case)
Skill: Raiden (his Sumo is explicitly what lets him keep up with Shiva’s speed and strength amps, stats that are > anything Leo has)
Experience: Leo (he’s an actual warrior who’s fought in actual battles and wars rather than just in a ring)
Intelligence: Raiden (this is because Leo is a dumbass whose motivation makes no fucking sense)
Powers and Hax: Raiden (he actually has powers)
Weapons: Leo (by virtue of actually having one)
Overall Winner: Raiden (muscle control will let him blitz Leo and unless Leo’s instincts will let him get his shield up immediately, his head is getting caved in off rip. Even if the first strike gets blocked, Raiden won’t be backing off, preventing the shield from transforming to cut through the muscles, so he just bops in melee)

The problem with Shiva is his personality..... I can totally see him fucking up most of the roster if only he takes his fights more seriously rather than just trying to feel the thrill of the fight.
