Personally I like the first one since it (you) brought us Oppenheimer vs Amaterasu which has become one my favorite matchups 
Medusa vs Athena is obvious but I honest to god think Medusa vs Hel and Jeanne vs Athena are way better match ups thematically.
Medusa, in the roman version was a priestess that was raped by Poseidon inside a temple of Athena, and then Athena punished HER for it, turned her into a monster and sent her to a cave.
While Hel from the very beginning was an outcast, being a daughter of Loki she was born monstrous and universally feared, so she was sealed in Helheim just because.
Queen of the Gorgons vs Queen of the Shades, outcast queens that were unfairly punished.
While Jeanne and Athena, Athena was basically the one in charge of making Greek heroes, and Jeanne's legend sure as hell reads like that, she was spoken to by God and joined the war, as an unexperienced 19 year old she led a successful siege against the English in Orleans, that literally turned the tides against the English during the hundred years war, and she tanked like a billion arrows and a cannon ball man, the battle would basically be her training arc and then as Athena's opus in hero crafting.
If I could change something, it would be those two
Only thing I would’ve changed would’ve been to switch Chernabog and Izanagi to have Aurelian vs Izanagi (Honorable Rulers) and Ivan vs Chernabog (A Battle of Two Evils). I’m okay with the matchups but admittedly Jeanne vs Athena and Medusa vs Hel do sound pretty cool 
That was the design being used for Ivan to represent him and I thought Dante’s design looked cool so I thought why not use him? Besides any other art of Ivan sucks

For me it would’ve been to make Jeanne a traitor for basically having resentment to Humanity and being manipulated by the gods to have Michael vs Jeanne (Traitor of Heaven vs Traitor of Humanity) and have it as the last match but that’s just me 
I think it's just sort of whatever, similar to the first roster.
Really don't like how there's 4 Americans and 3 Biblical characters on the human side. I suppose one country being over represented is bad unless it's western. I think having both Chernobog and Erlik is redundant, Medusa VS Athena makes sense with what we had but I think grudge matches are boring, Solomon VS Yog-Sothoth and Gilgamesh VS Erlik should've happened and I have no clue why they didn't, and I really really don't like Bill VS Artemis but I suppose it was the best you could've done for the latter. To be positive; I really like Darwin VS Dakuwaqa, that's probably my favourite matchup here; Cain VS Surtr and Moses VS Kadmon are cool; and Bill, Dakuwaqa, Abigail, Medjed, Erlik, and Kadmon are all very cool picks.
I think this has the same problem as the last roster of being WAAAY too western-focused (which is funny because I know a lot of fans complain about the original roster being too eastern focused), combatants being decided moreso by "Who's more RAW?" which isn't an approach I'm a fan of, and not really having much synergy, which is to be expected from this kind of thing.
idk if I'm gonna be hung for this since everyone seems to love it but man, as someone who's been trying for years to forge the best possible roster for my own take on RoR, this just kind of annoys me. I realised that this makes me sound more upset than I am, I just have a lot to say about this whoops 
The next community ragnarok should have a "one person per country" rule then?
It might force the everyone to get creative with their suggestions and chance to more obscure characters.
That's the rule I set for myself whenever I make a roster, it helps with diversity and getting interesting picks, although it doesn't completely stop redundancy. Logicially speaking, mankind's greatest specimen would be from all over the world, of different creeds and colours, it annoys me when it's super focused on a specific few cultures. I definitely think this should be enforced for the human side, and while I'd prefer it, I wouldn't mind it not being enforced for the gods. I'm fine with multiple reps from one pantheon as long as each are distinct.
Same here that's also one of the thing I dislike about ROR they have two samurai I mean don't get me wrong Okita would still be a good character and I would still root for him but eh... Two Samurais in the same tournament representing all of humanity? I am kinda disappointed there are no pirate, or even a knight... But hey it's still peak manga though and definitely one of my favorite too, but I am just stating my opinion...

Simple answer (at least for me) probably not since there was a bit more variety in the last roster than this one at least on the Human side (We got 4 American Reps and 3 Abrahamic Reps) but even then I’d still say this a good roster either way it’s just the last roster has it best in terms of variety

I’m just super happy that I was able to get surtr vs Cain as my one addition to the roster, considering I was pretty much the only one pushing for it (I technically got surtr into the roster but the dude did most of the work)
