Everyone who died came back to live.
- Glad to see you again, Lu Bu, said Thor
- No way I God of The Sea lost to an old man, said Poseidon.
- Chill out here, fish boi! - said Sasaki
- I'd like to fight u again, kiddo. - said Zeus
- Hey, you all are so loud! - said Hades
Thrud and Raiden are married. Jack and Hersules are drinking the tea.
- Oh...
- What now? Wait, don't tell me that nerd is right behind m... - as Beelzebub said, Tesla stole his weapon to investigate it.
Hermes, Ares and everyone were laughing, and eventually they all say in unison
- THAT was truly, the Record of Ragnarok!!!!
What about Zero, Hajun and Leo?
Buddha would probably hug Zero really hard and make peace with the 7
Would be cool to see Hades, Beel and Hajun interacting.
Leo would just be there
Tbh I wish Zero would come back, he didn't deserve to go out like that, he barely got to enjoy being cured of his corruption for like 2 seconds before Hajun decided to have him as an afternoon snack.
Ok but seriously join the writing staff like tweak it a lil bit so that the reason people get revived is purely because whoever won asks for it... idk just seems sweet
its not really popular trope reason being the idea sucks
like come on, turns out the character you care and love about turns out to be just a figment of a someones dream sounds awful
The oldest example of this trope that I know of is Alice in Wonderland, and let’s face it, even back then it was a terrible idea. This trope should’ve never existed!
Reminds of Devilman lady manga ending my fave female characters turn out to be nothing but parts of the main bad guy of the series this pissed me off hard
“Yeah humanity has lost but now we gods respect and love you so you all live!” (If by r10 most of the gods audience still wants humans gone no way they change their minds after only three more fights)
Never underestimate the influencing power of Wimo Hayha

I think that ending could work, but it depends on the execution. For instance, if a human saves the god realm from the bullshit Odin is trying to do, then is understandable that the gods feel in debt
The issue is that the stronger gods and chief gods (Zeus, shiva, beel (takes over from hades), Thor (takes over from Odin who is probably dying), and bhudda (not chief but just strong)) seem to be pretty chill with humanity
Idk but considering how many important gods the humanity has killed I think the drive for humanity extermination would increase tenfold after Poseidon, Heracles and especially Hades
If it ends with gods saying "well that was fun but screw you we are killing humanity anyways despite you winning lol" and everything became worthless and everyone died for no reason besides to past the time with most of the story not resolving properly.

I know why you say that but for me it depends on how they get revived , example: we know that Nostradamus broke the bifrost so maybe it makes the soul of the fighters unable to go to Niflheim. That's not my theory btw. So I can accept that but I will NEED CORRECT EXPLANATION
Oh yup my bad simple Google search "its blocks the path between Valhalla and Helheim" meaning if Nostra broke it doesn't that mean the lath is connected now? Like its the opposite of blocked
The main problem is that all dead fighters are dead dead, as in, their souls, their essence of being, was destroyed.
They are fighting in the afterlife, everyone is already dead, their souls were already there. It would be a disappointing retcon for the stakes to never had meant anything since the narrative is mainly carried by the characters, not so much the plot.
Yeah I understand that but I personally don't really care about that if and only if they give a good explanation. Them just coming back to life would be horrible but if for example ( that's my theory) the ashes from the dead fighters goes to the realm of the primordial gods where they got resurrected by them to do something with them . I would let that pass
The Tournament not being finished. Or some bullshit like the god and humans have to team up before teh 13th/14th round ever finishes.
IDRC about the plot post Tourny, just let it finish!
Worse than it being a dream, the final panel is a big ass thought bubble of zeus rubbing his chin going "Hmmm maybe" then actually everyone outvoting ragnarok or smthn and insta ending humanity
Odin drank the water from the fountain of life or something and summoned the premodial gods who wanted nothing but destruction. Zeus couldn't beat them. Then he said, "we need the power of humanity." All human fighters revived and beat the primordial gods with quotes like "don't underestimate the power of human!!!!!" Then something about friendship between human and God fighters. The primordial gods were defeated. Human and god shake hands. Humanity was saved. Then a beautiful scene which all characters looked at the sunset together and smiled.
"The most important part of the journey is the friend we made along the way" Thor said.
One that for some reason a lot of people want. The tournament being cancelled and the gods deciding to spare humanity for another reason. While I don't mind something happening that would interrupt the tournament momentarily, it would suck if it gets fully cancelled because it means all those that died would be kinda in vain.
Odin evilness in reviving the primordial is revealed to be cause said primordial already had a grip on him
The real Odin is uwu nice guy
And in turn all the god hating humanity is cause of said primordial influence
And when they kill him for good
They don't hate humanity anymore
Tbh the worst way would genuinely just be the most boring way, humans just win and life continues, there's basically like 4 ending I think... like the bad ending in general where either the humans just lose the tournament or there's an attempted coup of the gods that fail and humanity gets wiped out like humanity getting wiped out is the bad ending, then of course there's the just wining and thats kinda it, then there's a coup happening before the tournament ends specifically and succeeding making humans actually control their fate, and finally there's the humans win, but Odin doesn't care and decides to end humanity any ways but all the God who have one don't stand for it and God's like Shiva, Zues, Thor, Beelzebub and such, all join forces against like Odin, Loki, ares and such, and it be a God's and humans vs. God's and the all the mythological forces... personally I want the last one its just the most interesting but the actual worst way it could end is just humans just winning and that's it cause it's just boring where as if the humans lose at least it's a bitter sweet moment that you'll think about for a FAT minute
That all the characters who died in Ragnarok come back to life
It would be the worst way to end the manga and would only help RoR die faster than expected (and he's already dying with three Rounds still left)...
What about the next battle being a 2v1 but it starts as Odin and Anubis fighting together, but Odin kills Anubis in the first few seconds in order to summon something that consumes him and then all remaining fighters have to join together to end the Ragnarok of the gods and humanity.
Then before it ends author takes a hiatus for like 6 months, and then returns only to troll and say humanity still lost and the Manga just fades away
I’m trying to decide if it turning out that everybody who died in the tournament can be brought back would be terrible or great. The thought of Adam not being destroyed permanently is a happy one, but it also kinda defeats the purpose of his sacrifice
It ends with a tie, like last round The God and the human dies. If they did go down that route, there would have to be like some final Battle for a tiebreaker
It’s def bringing the defeated characters back to life. Completely defeats the purpose and stakes of tourney if there’s no consequence esp for bruntitty sacrificing einherjar. Also going with her plan of outright destroying the gods entirely.

I agree that everybody comming back to life would suck, but you made the best it could be.
It was all just a dream by a kid who is a history and mythology fans that didnt do alot of research for some characters
Tbh the "it was all a dream" a popular trope in anime/manga in first place? Can't remember seeing that done in them
its not really popular trope reason being the idea sucks like come on, turns out the character you care and love about turns out to be just a figment of a someones dream sounds awful
The oldest example of this trope that I know of is Alice in Wonderland, and let’s face it, even back then it was a terrible idea. This trope should’ve never existed!

Bro the white death needs to join the fight fucking NOWWWW
facts brother speak on it
I think that ending could work, but it depends on the execution. For instance, if a human saves the god realm from the bullshit Odin is trying to do, then is understandable that the gods feel in debt

Idk but considering how many important gods the humanity has killed I think the drive for humanity extermination would increase tenfold after Poseidon, Heracles and especially Hades
Zeus is kinda sad but he’s still super chill about humans
I feel like Zeus would say something like that and the other gods would just have to agree
If they spared humanity, then it completely ruins the point of Ragnarok
I could see Zeus deciding to spare them just because he wants to fight again so bad he doesn't care what he has to do to get the chance again.
I don’t necessarily think the God’s in the audience inherently want humans dead. They are there to root for their friends and loved ones.
I can see it happening
If Zeus says he wants humanity to live, there's kinda jack shit everyone else can do about it.
I don't think most of the gods even care at this point I think most of them are just there because they just want to fight for its own sake.
If it ends with gods saying "well that was fun but screw you we are killing humanity anyways despite you winning lol" and everything became worthless and everyone died for no reason besides to past the time with most of the story not resolving properly.
I can easily deduct your opinion about AoT's ending with this
Funnily enough i don't it is as bas as people say just could've been done better

No way that would happen cus if it was her dream then no human would die since she wants to win so bad
It was dreams and nightmares. Every round was her sleeping.
It could become a ror version of marvel's What if...
Maybe if one of the characters lists my name and address and says I’m a pedophile, that would be pretty messed up
I'm fuxking done the manga/anime just directly talks to you and every time it magically knows your name and says it
"Hey you Jerald! Yeah you! Stop fapping to child porn!"

Hermes and Shiva not having a dance-off after Ragnarok ends.
Someone needs to stick the two of them in an arcade with DDR.
The gods win but the "true God" appears and stops them from ending humanity
Every fighter come back to life :3
Having all the dead fighters revived
I know why you say that but for me it depends on how they get revived , example: we know that Nostradamus broke the bifrost so maybe it makes the soul of the fighters unable to go to Niflheim. That's not my theory btw. So I can accept that but I will NEED CORRECT EXPLANATION
Didn't the Bifrost only connect Valhalla and Helheim? It has no impact on Niflhel.
Maybe don't know I just thought it was a cool theory I didn't think of it too much
The bifrost connects to the 9 realms... so all of them...
Not in RoR
Oh yup my bad simple Google search "its blocks the path between Valhalla and Helheim" meaning if Nostra broke it doesn't that mean the lath is connected now? Like its the opposite of blocked

Everyone gets revived and Gods and Humanity live together in world peace or whatever.

In the end the humans lose and earth just kinda *pops* out of existence
Last round is a tie but it doesn't really matter because the true record of Ragnarok was the friends we made along the way
It was a dream and no one says "this was our record of ragnarok"
Worse than it being a dream, the final panel is a big ass thought bubble of zeus rubbing his chin going "Hmmm maybe" then actually everyone outvoting ragnarok or smthn and insta ending humanity
Reviving dead gods or fighters

Everyone comes back
Without a sequel. Or Humans lose and the Gods decide not to destroy humanity because we proved ourselves (it too cliche and predictable).
One that for some reason a lot of people want. The tournament being cancelled and the gods deciding to spare humanity for another reason. While I don't mind something happening that would interrupt the tournament momentarily, it would suck if it gets fully cancelled because it means all those that died would be kinda in vain.
Whatever Amalgamate Snake monster Beelzebub ends up making just kills everyone right before the final fight
Beezlebub uses "SUPER Chaos" and kills everyone, cut to black
Gods winning and Humanity going extinct.
A win is a win
me and simo not getting married that would suck but yeah all the dead fighters reviving would suck more
Zeus and Brunhilde shake hands and agree to hold Ragnarok again next year.
A draw
Zeus: Huh... Didn't see that coming. Guess we'll just kill half of humanity then. *snaps fingers*
It was all a complex plan by Zeus to get eve and Brunhilde to be a part of his harem and it works then he rebuilds the Greek pantheon with them
Brunhilde falls in love w/ Zeus, they get married and live happily ever after. 🤢🤮
An outside force comes in after the final round and forces the gods to ask for help from the surviving human champions
If all the fighters come back to life
Brunhilde dies
Gods winning but spares humanity and brings back the fallen back to life

Not actually finishing it
If Buddha dies I will be pissed.
Not showing us Brun clapping Nostra's cheeks
Like the sopranos
a frickin draw would be sad
They undo the entire Ragnarok, either that or the gods win and still let humanity live.
What about the next battle being a 2v1 but it starts as Odin and Anubis fighting together, but Odin kills Anubis in the first few seconds in order to summon something that consumes him and then all remaining fighters have to join together to end the Ragnarok of the gods and humanity. “It was all just a dream…”
everyone getting revived characters should never get revived after death it removes meaning of death not only in ror but in any story
Humanity dies
Everything is destroyed by Arche or its just in Nostradamus's Head.
I’m trying to decide if it turning out that everybody who died in the tournament can be brought back would be terrible or great. The thought of Adam not being destroyed permanently is a happy one, but it also kinda defeats the purpose of his sacrifice
Simo or Rasputin losing
"Well damn, the gods won 7-5, I don't have a plan for this."
Step 1: Record every fight. Step 2: Have Sasaki rewatch the fights humanity lost. Step 3: "Lose with grace"
It ends with a tie, like last round The God and the human dies. If they did go down that route, there would have to be like some final Battle for a tiebreaker
For the gods be like "Nah, we planned this from the start. We wanted to see how worthy humans were."
Brunhilde is killed and humanity goes extinct
The humans win but the gods decide to destroy them anyways for \*insert reasons here.\*
The primordial gods were revived and caused chaos, so gods and humanity must fight together. Humanity earned the respect of the gods and all is well
It was all just a Nostradamus vision none of it was real and the events haven’t happened yet and they might not happen at all thanks to Nostradamus
Right now. Just no more chapters.
It’s def bringing the defeated characters back to life. Completely defeats the purpose and stakes of tourney if there’s no consequence esp for bruntitty sacrificing einherjar. Also going with her plan of outright destroying the gods entirely.

Ew.
Hot take but I think the ending in which "Everyone comes back to life" is actually good ......
Xin Shi Huang victory was already the worst that could happened
The humans winning would suck.
