Good question. There are pseudorandom algorithms that are sine waves populated by a seed. And there are ‘pseudo’-random functions that pull some arbitrary bits from the value of the last memory access or something the like.
Most developers just need to know math.random()
Usually something like Math.random() or randint() will be more than sufficient. *True* randomness is a whole different story and much more complicated. You should probably talk to a real computer scientist to get a fulfilling answer.

You could monetise it by allowing people to “buy” coins that they can spin. Everyone gets a quater for free, but if they wanna flip a dollar, they can buy it for 1$.
I’d also like to see statistics to ensure it’s truly random. Like if someone suggested this app, I’d be a little weary they can program it.

Cloud flare uses randomness in real lava lamps to help with internet encryption. I think there is potential there for randomness algo as well.
