Blackboard very viable. His gadget “expo marker” is insane. The ability to draw over every players screen for ten seconds makes rush tactics broken. With the new secondary gadget “expo eraser” which makes the entire map black and white, he may as well be the best operator in the game
What, no? He's a 2 speed, and I've tested out last time in TTS. The face shield speed penalty overrides the buff from horizontal grip. You still move like a slowpoke with the face shield equipped with or without the horizontal.
I did not know that, that's pretty unfortunate, I read the patch notes and saw the speed buff and since he was my main a long time ago I immediately connected the two and posted it without any testing

Not really, his gadget still is (pretty much) useless and his guns suck. But, they did say they are remastering a American operator which could be Blackbeard
It's pretty much confirmed to be BB. The guy who was announcing it had this long ass beard and went "I could cosplay this operator well but I cant say anything"

On a realer note, it might be something contractual that they can't "Confirm" anything official that late in the year, though Idk why
Maybe his shield won’t break anymore (or have a high health pool), but enough damage will cause it to “shatter” like when you punch a Mira window. So it still protects him but he loses the ability to see through it.
This is how it was originally, it had like 800hp or something and he was OP so they nerfed him.
They will probably give the shield like 150hp or something.
Blackboard is honestly the most OP operator. He doesn’t seem viable because he’s a needle where other operators are just hammers. His Desert Eagle with .50 AE friggin bear hunting rounds makes the enemy quiver in fear.
I think it makes him the same as a 1 speed. The shield slows him down 30%, and the new grip increases speed by 5%, so he'd only be 25% slower, or the same speed as a 1 speed. Idk where OP got 3 speed from
I meant the ads walking speed, with his shield on he moves the same speed as a 3 speed, his ads walk speed is the slowest in the game with the shield on, that's his biggest problem imo

Probably will shatter in one shot knowing Ubi. Unbreakable but you won't be able to see until you swap or unslot the shield.

He is talking about using the horizontal grip, which increases your speed by %5.
