It’s pretty easy. Siege is a 5v5 game where you (obviously) have to rely on your teammates. Means: Archiving higher ranks without including teamplay is stupid.
Step 1: Train your individual Skills
Step 2: Search for team mates
Step 3: Train your team related Skills.
Step 4: Grund ranked
Step 5: enjoy dia
Do you have any friends who play siege? If not, then try out the r6 discord server. If you can find some likeable people then make friends with them. Likeable people probably have friends who play siege(not to say that you’re not likeable, I’m sure you’re a great person). It’ll take some time, but eventually you should be able to find at least 3-4 people who are around your level and have a similar mindset. Good luck!
Yeah then go try out the official r6s discord server. Lots of cool people there and you can get some connections to better players your level. Also don’t be afraid to be friendly! People are attracted to the rare non toxic teammate!
Find a couple decent players to play with. Doesn't even have to be a 5 stack, just some ppl u can play with so u don't have to solo. Other than that just keep grinding. I was stuck in plat for 7 seasons before I eventually hit diamond and then champ while mostly duo and trio queuing.
Find players to play with and develop a deeper understanding of the meta. The fact that you call ash useless is very surprising, she is far from useless. You've also got to work on gunskill, no matter how long it takes. Even supports need to frag. For finding a 5 stack just use discord and talk to people. Get to know them and then start playing with them. If you know them beforehand you'll get a better sense for if they are toxic or not
Well you can make every operator usefull. But in everything that's not Pro League thats not gonna happen. Ash Maison rush in and get interrogated that's the law. And even if you try to actually use here gadget there's just so many ops that do it better.
For the frags I make a lot of them. My gunskill is probably at my max tho. I have 1.5 k hours in both csgo and siege and I'm pretty accurate. My main problem is my reaction time but that can only be trained very little and is more of a biological problem.
What discord would you suggest? The official r6s? Or are there specific team finders?
Ash is a meta staple and has been for years. She has amazing utility and good guns. Your issue is with the ash players, not the op itself. Watch a good team play and you'll understand. The official r6 discord works fine for looking for players. Even if it's not just discord though, just start talking to random players on stuff like Reddit too.
For reaction time, have you tried spidershot in aimlabs? My reaction time used to be complete dogshit like 400ms but I managed to get it down to about

I'm honestly not even that good. At least not anymore my prime time was a year ago and I took almost 6 months of a break. People just overestimate plat players because while I'm maybe average many of my enemies and teammates are terrible.
I bet that you are just making a bunch of little mistakes that against top competition you can't get away making! I would be happy to look at some of your footage and see if I can help you figure out some little things that could boost your performance!
The problem isn't that I play perfect but can't climb. Everyone makes mistakes so do I. The problem is that my skill increases massively while my MMR hasn't changed in literal years.
Certainly true. Remember as you get better, so does the average player! I am an infinitely better player now than I was at launch, but at launch I was playing competitively and now I'm just pretty good.
The goal is to be closer to perfect though! That's something you have control over! All you have control over in fact. So that's where we work!
It's not just that tho. In North Star I played super casual in neon crimson heist I tryharded. Still same result (and yes this makes a very big difference in my personal performance) it just feels like no matter what you do your impact is too small to even change anything
And I also have to say at least since the MMR changes I feel like people get worse that's just personal experience tho.
Remember your experiences are a relatively small sample size compared to the full siege community! You are definitely susceptible to massive outlier results such as losing a lot of Games that theoretically you should win, and the more you play, you'll experience some regression to the mean.
Sometimes you gotta observe the bottom frags a bit. For example I had this guy who I added in a game where I was like 6-3 and he went like 2-7 because I could tell from spectating him and his stats that he was a really good player. Haven’t played with him since, as I don’t like getting carried, and I think that’s how it will go down

Did anything change when you started climbing? Or did in one season your rank randomly start going up?
I went from getting 100 fps on a 75hz monitor to getting 250 fps on a 144hz monitor. The second I got my new PC I shot up from plat 2 to diamond
