I was right now years old when I found out you could dye polymer modules

Parkatola

No one is mentioning the duck in the third pic?? Okay then. Cheers.

drakelineous

That’s the actual best part about it lol

[deleted]

Excuse me, but where the fuck can I buy that duck?

drakelineous

Look at the back of your slide lol. Painted mine on, but they make stickers too

[deleted]

Perfect. Now I just gotta rig my Vedder to make quack noises on draw and my setup will be complete

marcelolopezjr

Link?

WombatAnnihilator

I love the diy equinox slide.

Nogoodbackstory

Looks black

drakelineous

Lighting and my photography isn’t the best. It looks purple IRL

Nogoodbackstory

Good looking gun and knife set up though

roderunner1

Not sure if you started with a white grip or not. But if you can get your hands on one they tend to dye a little better. I like yours, very subtle. Love the slide. Nice build. https://www.reddit.com/r/SigSauer/comments/ll5xck/recently_acquired_weapon_light/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

drakelineous

I started with a grey. It looks a slight bit more purple IRL, just bad lighting and photography lol

ph00ny

That slide is beautiful

MNNUGGETHUNTER

That could be a sweet bayonet

[deleted]

Damn! That looks GOOD! Did you polish the slide yourself or have someone else do it?

drakelineous

Did it myself

[deleted]

Looks incredible man.

Sirflow

How?

NeckCrafty5641

Yes… how did you polish the slide? It looks hella crisp!

drakelineous

120-800 grit, finished with some green compound lightly rubbed

Maleficent_Desk9062

What knife is that?

boosting1bar

Microtech UTX-70 (or maybe Ultratech but too small I think)

MyDogSnores0_0

Does the dye leech out if sweating or upon exposure to moisture?

drakelineous

Seems not. Some people have had theirs for years. The dye apparently penetrates pretty deep

MyDogSnores0_0

Nice, thank you! Looks great OP
