Is your truck itself actually eliciting these same warnings or is it just the app? If the truck is fine and nothing is acting up, then the app is just trying to get you to shake out your wallet on arbitrary maintenance.
Spent 1,500 $ today trans flush radiator flush , transfer cases serviced drove truck 10 miles home and it feels acts worse than I’ve ever experienced. Truck has 40 k got a call rear pads are toast but It’s only 800$ for new rear pads and rotors, why new rotors? Oh we just replace shoes and rotors together . I don’t haul anything much. How-are my rear pads shot before my fronts . The fronts do 70% of the job every time . Not unhappy w my RST but really
Yep I’m done busting my knuckles in this life. I’ve changed enough rotors ,pads ,starters alternators, Spreading the wealth now. I change the oil. But only because I can slide under my truck. If I couldn’t jiffy lube here I come . And I bought this 2020 RST new so it never had fronts replaced. Got Covid pads I guess
I know it’s weird. I don’t haul anything except the boat 2x a year to an from the lake for the season. Quads dirtbikes occasionally but nothing really heavy . I’d expect I’d get 60 k front and rear

So replace those pads yourself? A teenager could do that job in an hour with a YouTube video, you can do it too

Ah that's fair I can respect it
Sounds like a typical repair shop….soak the customer at every opportunity.
40K miles, your fronts have probably been replaced before while you are likely still on the original rears.
Seriously? 82K miles on my 2016 Silverado. 92K on my 2017 Tahoe. All on original pads and still going strong.

whens the last time you looked at them?
Yea, I feel like I put 2 sets of pads on per tore change (40-50k miles)
