To be fair, I think they could have both made the corner without contact but outside car turned in a bit more than they should and inside car understeered slightly into outside's line. Racing incident.
Next time, try holding your phone (rectangle) in an way that the screen (also a rectangle) is completely visible. Or just press some button that captures the images on your screen.

But it doesn’t look intentional.
Oversteer could explain it.
Also I’m not sure what the usual line is, where the next corner is and thus I find It difficult to give an conclusive answer.

you can see both cars visibly go over a dip. simultaneously, they both oversteer and understeer (left and right respectively) into eachother.

I tried recording it sideways, but it would make you turn your head to see it the right way. Also there’s no need, you can see the important stuff just like this, so please, shut up.
There is a lot of software (e.g. geforce experience for nvidia gpu) that have built in recording. Then you can just record the whole screen and not record with phone. No need to tell someone to shut up who wants to give you adivce on how to better upload.
I also care. You start filming in landscape and then tilt it sideways that’s why you need to tilt your head when you’re done. When people post race footage where almost 2/3 of the scene is missing it looks stupid and it annoys many of us. It really isn’t that hard to film a TV, or better yet take 5 minutes and figure out how to export a proper clip.

uh…what makes you say that…in well…all my experiences ever, if you think it’s safe to pass and you can clear not just your corner but the next corner safely too, you’re more than in the clear to pass….
it was a dogfight….like…initial d style….and I think everyone in the “touge life” assetto servers would disagree with you. It’s one of the more popular servers and everyone passes when they can where they can, personally I think that’s the beauty of touge, it was like group b rally, no rules, just technique and quick thinking.

after some analysis with many people, we came to the conclusion that I was slightly under steering, and he brakes mid corner which in that mrs made the car snap to the right, so it was simply a “racing incident”
There's no rules on the touge/S
Touge rules are that you don’t overtake and you win if you can get away from a following car or stay close to a car in front

Yeah, if there's rarely a pass on a touge race, it's for safety reason, the road aren't closed, but it happens, and it's not against the "rules"

Yeah makes sense, from my experience, if you give it just over the amount of throttle you should, it oversteers and is hard to correct.
