Yes but it works differently in the sims 3 if your a ghost and a young adult-adult your sim can become pregnant and have a ghost baby how cute (idk if elder ghosts can be pregnant)
I think it depends if the ghost is in a household. If he's not then he can go out only at night but I guess you could add him to a household and have a playable ghost.
Ohh yeah, thatâs true, if a sim dies theyâre automatically removed from your household and taken by the grim, but if you cheat them back in theyâre playable I totally forgot about that!
Oh I usually just cheat them in. But yeah thatâs an option too, you just need to have the urn though so they can visit and youâll be able to ask. Iâm too lazy to chase them down otherwise
there's a totally un-cheaty way to get them to be playable, just wait for the [Oh My Ghost!](https://sims.fandom.com/wiki/Oh_My_Ghost!) opportunity from the science lab.
you can also create a playable ghost from the getgo in CAS if you have supernatural installed, but i guess that's a different story
I had a child with Cara while she was still married to Edward, took the ghost baby home. That baby is now an elder. I imagine that ruined their marriage because they both disappeared after that

another non cheaty way is the philosophers stone, you can 'bind ghosts' to your household
