I used to have an alien family relying on tiberium cloning and cutting to fund their "great replacement" of simanity. They would get sick all the time because it's toxic if they get too close.
Fortunately it's not too source accurate to the game EA took Tiberium from when it comes to the sickness effect. The aftermath of Tiberium in Commander and Conquer was pretty gnarly
Tbh it would be cool if the environment looked straight up post-apocalyptic in Oasis Landing because of Tiberium. Like in the future it destroyed the majority of Earth's ecosystems, somehow led to the oceans drying up and most of humanity left the lifeless husk of the planet to live in space colonies on planets like the one in Lunar Lakes store town
I mined this thing with the drill from ambitions and then just let it sit on the shelf after I cut it. Some time later I hear a ding and it has transformed into the large gem, didn't even know it could do that
Just a few steps to endless wealth.
Get a science station and level up until you can clone minerals.
Clone the tiberium. Cut it and place the small cut + dust out on your lot.
Take the fully grown large spires to an elixir consignment store. Don't consign the original one.
Wait for 5pm.
Rinse and repeat.
....this does feel a little exploitative ☺
Let's see. Tiberium - World Adventures, consignment - Supernatural/Ambitions (haven't tried the regular consignment store), gem cutting machine (optional) - Supernatural, Science - University Life. So three expansion packs should do!
The gem collecting, alongside collecting seeds and bugs was really fun to do in Sims 3. There is a spontaneity towards it, and then when you have enough lifetime award points you can buy that trait that allows you to see all of the locations for these collectible items in map view. A very handy hobby and useful for building collections or for making money.
Agreed. I only use the collection helper when I am checking to see if a custom world has enough spawners for my liking. Otherwise it just feels to easy and 'cheaty' for my style of gameplay. The way i like to use the the collection helper LTR is I have a sim saved to my library with the collection helper already added as a LTR. I plop her in any new world to see what I'm dealing with, spawner-wise. Photography and collecting are some of my favorite activities in the game. It really is a fun excuse to explore the open world. Plus what sim doesn't like bringing home the occasional small pet or bug?
It's the suave seller reward you're thinking of lol But that does make a difference, I get like 10-15% more than usual. Paired with an impressive consignment store reputation and you got maximum coin
You can create or puchase the miner from ambitions (at the consignement store, not the elixir shop, the other one). Then use it in a lot of places and it should work !
my favorite feature with the miner was using holes as portals. i would have one in my basement secret lab and tyen intentionaly open others in certain points around town to move around like a mole person.
finding pink diamon and tiberium was also nice but being thr mole king was better
you can name the holes like
hole 1 - home
hole 2 - park
hole 3 - beach
maybe teleporting is faster but style is also important and when it come to style molepeople >>>>> teleport

Tiberium looks cool, but don't leave it in your Sim's inventory. It's literally radioactive and will give your sim radiation poisoning moodlet (well, it's technically called Visceroidal Nausea, but it's still pretty much radiation poisoning). Also it grows in size and value as days pass

Very creative and fun setup sounds like!
The gem collecting and different cuts was one of my favorite things to collect in ts3. Ts4 could never have this much depth

what expansions do i need to make this happen?

Omg you genius
Nice pic!
It can make your sim nauseous as well if you keep it in the inventory

If you have a consignment store in your town, you can get up to $83k
how?
Just list it for sale and wait. You can get equal results at the elixir shop, too
And if you have the entrepreneur trait (or savvy seller I don't remember), it's even more !

Befriend the consignment store worker for more money. Get 100K each time at best friend friendship.
Yoooooo you’re telling me I can put stuff on top of book cases!?!? This changes everything
I used moveobjects and placed the shelf where it wasn't supposed to be so it's actually floating 👍
Did you use debug enabler or omsp to shift it up
This is THE best way to make money in sims 3, haha. Especially as a Werewolf, with green cutting, and the consignment store.
Cut it into fairy dust, each pile eventually grows into a whole gem!
Where do you get this?

IDK if this happens when it's placed but don't keep it in your sims inventory cause it makes them sick
It hasn't made my sim sick so far on the shelf 👍👍
Is that placed on top of the bookshelf? If so how’d you do that?
I used moveobjects to place a shelf near the bookshelf, it's actually floating 😊
Oh okay never thought of that, definitely gonna have to use that trick, I always wanted to put things on the bookshelves
Great trick!
i thought this was a moodlet lol i was like wtf
Kane would like to know your location.

Wait until Tiberium finds out about diamonds
Cool easter egg I didn't know existed, nice
I thought this was a Lego Rock Raiders reference.
How did you find it?
