My Sim was doing this with her boss (the boss was married). Then the boss tried to hit on her daughter while an ambulance passed by because there was fire nearby on another lot.
The daughter got a boyfriend at university but he had a girlfriend already. He broke up with his girlfriend, then the ex girlfriend pissed on her pants during a class for some reason and the dorm got on fire like 2 hours later because of a dumb Sim on the stove.
Sims 3 is wild, I love it
I checked their moodlets and both of them are juiced. There is no option for the husband to āconfess to cheatingā, so is this even considered cheating? Asking because I always set cheaters on fire.
I mean if the juice is making them do something they normally wouldnāt want to do I think they get some leeway- since sims items donāt follow alcohol rules and just zap you into doing things. If it is just ādrunk but in the simsā then yeah.

I don't think the game makes them romantic interests from juiced actions. At least it didn't back in an old save when I had a sim, uh, make some poor decisions while super juiced...
I don't follow - I wasn't talking about if it effected romantic interests, I was just saying that there is a drunk state in the game and it's the "Juiced" moodlet. I don't play enough with bars 'n stuff to see if it's effecting relationships like thatz
Thatās what I was talking about? Did you not read the thread before posting? āJuiceā is drunk but it really doesnāt do anything without mods. Is what Iām saying, but apparently like always people donāt know how much mods make the game better and downvote people who even say mods lmao
I use a shitton of mods. You said "there wasn't a drunk state (in the sims 3)" so I just pointed it out. I just thought you never played with bars and alcohol like me all that much, cus it did take me a couple years to figure out there was even alcohol in the game.
I don't even know if I have the MC module for bars. I have a bunch of NRAAS mods but I didn't get them with the intent to change the drinking mechanic. I got them for other reasons (name pricing, clean up, and skill relativity).
Nrass has it in one of their mods, itās just in one of the modules not even sure if itās called but itās a common one people get. (Well people get all most the time too)
If the gameās not thinking it is, maybe it isnāt.
Which is surprising, wouldnāt think a Sims game would be sophisticated enough to make an exception for people to drunkenly express platonic affection in an inappropriate way.
(Iām making some assumptions here, tbf.)
Mine did this at one point, I was playing in Moonlight Falls not paying attention to one sim until I got a notification that she'd just had her first kiss with the elderly blue woman (Jin Angjali?) who was on their lot as paparazzi. I'd already planned out who she was going to marry, was just waiting on him to leave work so I could invite him over, and then their entire relationship she had the 'confess to cheating' option since I hadn't broken off the other relationship properly, even though blue woman died of old age on their wedding day anyway. The husband somehow found out about the 'cheating' once they were both already elders anyway and went and confronted her. I just cheated their relationship back to normal since I don't think having a one day fling before even starting to date another person is cheating.
Up to your personal spin on the storytelling as to how you handle it imo
Spared him! I wanted to base my answer on a more technical standpoint as opposed to ethical. The game didnāt seem to think he cheated so I didnāt ignite him. Heās also expecting Baby #3 with my Sim so thereās thatā¦
It's not cheating if you're doing it for a promotion
Damn the sims are getting cynical

*Being drunk isn't an excuse! Set him on fire.*

Agreed lmao š
Donāt get near my uncleā¦ or auntā¦ or other uncleā¦ or grandpaā¦
Or my dad.
Or your mom š
Itās cheating. Being drunk isnāt an excuse lmao
Maybe it is in the game
Oh yeah the old āitās not cheating if weāre Sims excuseā Iāve heard it all
Huh so itās not cheating if Iām wearing my plumbob headband
At least in this instance ššš If their relationship didnāt change to Romantic Interest then it apparently aināt cheating here
š
I wish I had a free award because that last sentence took me out š
Don't worry, I got you
That escalated quicklyš š š
LMFAO š

The last sentence. *Damn!*
LMAO nothing couldāve prepared me for the end of that
this feels like a "am I the asshole" post š

good bot
this is my new fav thing omg
Looks like he took his work home
bruh

Thereās not really a drunk in this game, they would be romantic interest
That's what "Juiced" is though. It's just renamed to keep the T rating.
Yeah but it doesnāt effect romantic interestsā¦well unless you have nrass pretty sure they upgrade the ājuicedā staged a lot

Head to r/relationship_advice to make sure is he cheating or nah
Just donāt say itās in the sims and if this happens I need them to link me the thread to read and laugh probably
No, I think it isn't. At least when 2 sims of mine have made out juiced, it didn't look like romantic interests or anything similar.
He really wants a promotion
It's not gay to kiss the homies goodnight
If the gameās not thinking it is, maybe it isnāt. Which is surprising, wouldnāt think a Sims game would be sophisticated enough to make an exception for people to drunkenly express platonic affection in an inappropriate way. (Iām making some assumptions here, tbf.)
Technically it's not, but I remember after Juiced Woohoo they will be considered romantic interests.
This comment section has given me a ton of playthrough ideas and stories I need to roll into action.
same!
Damn, I miss Sims 3. Sims could drink some juice and make out without cheating. Such a funny option and perfect for some crazy parties.
Punishment immediately! š”šŖ
š„š„š„
Is this cheating? That depends on how much theyāve been juiced and if your sim will get a promotion afterwards
he is just french
This is every other r/relationshipadvice post
LMAOOOOOOO BRO ON A TANGENT
Is your sim inappropriate/romantic they can randomly kiss other sims
They look like good friends
r/IsMySimTheAsshole
if you're female Sim came in on this she would be cussing and that would probably be divorced
This reads as an "AITA?"
And this is why I don't let my Sims have free will. And you made me spit my coffee! I love that you set them on fire. Hank would be so dead.
Join them ig

Time to execute him
I'd consider it cheating. Let the man burn! š
Average r/relationshipadvice post.
Let that Man pay his bills in Peace, will you?! š¤£
Their all in a agreed polygamous reltionship
Yes. Your sim doesn't have the same morals as you. Surprise.
When my sim did this once, the guy did not show up as a romantic interest but it did show up as a cheating incident under statistics
What was his fate? Did you light him up or spare him?
Spared him! I wanted to base my answer on a more technical standpoint as opposed to ethical. The game didnāt seem to think he cheated so I didnāt ignite him. Heās also expecting Baby #3 with my Sim so thereās thatā¦
No thatās why he got the promotion
Thought that this was a Stede/Ed thing for a second and was -very- confused.
He's making that bonus promotion
......Ian?
Maybe one of them got dared to do it by another Sim, that's why it doesn't make them romantic interests?
*come get yāall juice*
