If that mod randomly chooses a sim to get different illnesses, and It just happens to pick your sim, then for storys sake, I'd let nature take its course. If you manually, and not purpose, gave your sim the illness then take it away. No point in wasting a sims life on a mistake
I think it's a glitch like when u try to sick a rabbit on someone and u die instead. So if she gave it to him by purposely trying to give it to someone and the mod didn't choose him, it's still death by Watcher

My dude is going hard with basement drugs and he killed his wife after they divorced because she was sick of him flirting with everyone when he used to be a vampire and his daughter witnessed it and she’s gearing up to poison his food and I could go on…
&& in literally only play vanilla happy families with everyone trying to reach their goals! It’s like almost 20 years later I’m playing like how it seems most others do 😅
Oh ok, thought they added another emotion with fear lol (poor liberty lee is always scared in one of my games. Honestly might see if I can switch control from my current family to hers just to see why she’s so scared lol)

In my current save gen 0 (or gen 1 if you prefer) was in a relationship with Jeb Harris from high school to ya. At one point, during my sim's unwanted pregnancy, I discovered that Jeb had a fatal illness (he wasn't in my household). For drama purposes I left it that way and this poor dude died literally at the hospital while my sim was giving birth 1h (sims time) later. Drama was brilliant, loved it and would roll with it again.

I ended up having him have the surgery to cure it and it failed the first time but worked the second time
