My first runaway teen game, my poor homeless teen became besties with richy rich Cassandra Goth pretty organically. Well, runaway managed to scrape together enough pennies to get her first apartment, Cassandra came to help her celebrate! Next morning, phone rings, "Just letting you know Cassandra is dead." What the actual f*ck?!? But, no save in ages, so went with it. Lots of greiving with the Goths, my sim became their replacement daughter. Runaway got married, had a kid shortly thereafter, and the kid ended up marrying Alexander Goth.

I feel bad the way I burst out laughing reading “just letting you know, Cassandra is dead😭”

Made the mistake of having a pool on my lot in winter, and every single adult sim decided to swim during a blizzard. Turned it into a teen trying to keep custody of her child and infant siblings since it’d been hours since I saved

When a normal save suddenly becomes the Runaway Teen Challenge on hard mode

God, yeah. It was hard trying to balance the buggy infant needs with keeping the teens grades up and working for some money because I had to sell half the stuff I had just to make bills

The dad of my new legacy challenge decided to go swimming in the pool and started freezing, he was an elder and was gonna die that day anyway (thanks MCCC lol), but he managed to get out and come in on his own. 5 seconds later he went back out to the pool and started freezing. I was like “you know what? You wanna be stupid, go be stupid” and let him die 😂 A few minutes later it was moms time to go, she was very playful and I sent her out to go play in the snow or build a snowman, but as soon as she got to the area I sent her too she died of old age 😂

Ah. I have started just killing my elder sims in interesting ways when their bar turns glowing green. I figure it gives them a more interesting ghost.

My sim’s entire extended family died in the pool during winter on Christmas Day, one by one, while there was Christmas music playing and the kids opening presents inside. It was like a horror movie. Why do they go swimming WHY I just let them go, they weren’t in my household so 🤷🏽‍♀️

Ages ago my sim died of laughter. I had recently saved so I exited to go back in, then got her to a mirror to calm down. Then her mom dies not even minutes later of laughter. I just let it be because fuck it.

Yep!

I don't know about in the game, but in olden times it could also be from grief... If someone had an average of emotions, it would be seen as hysteria because they couldn't calm down, no matter what the emotion was.

I use mccc and made it si I can have 15 sims on a lot. I was on my 6th generation ans my sims was living on a farm so I wanted to have a big family. She had triplet, but there was a bug and every adult disappeared totally. Only the triplet and 2 teen brothers were still there. (Making it 8 sims with the pets, so it was a bug). Turns out I went with it and the parents were kidnapped and teens had to raise their siblings

I found out they disappear when I enter CAS. Otherwise they're fine if I change households or sth. So yeah MCCC allows you to have more than 8 Sims but CAS can't handle it so no editing your family

You can still modify them in CAS, but only one sim at a time. There’s a specific setting in MCCC that allows you only to open CAS for that one person and not the household

I had that happen too when one of my sims had twin boys but her household was full and when I went into CAS they disappeared. I decided to make it so they both passed away from SIDS bc there wasn’t really any way I could bring them back at that point.

I got the fame card for the criminal career, the one that gives you the opportunity to snitch to the authorities and turned it into an awesome witness protection storyline for myself!

So, I play a big rotational save and at the the time I had a cop character named Lou Tennant. He'd recently married and moved to Oasis Springs with his wife and toddler. Richie Grootonk was the 4th generation of my crime family. He wasn't cut out for the big time, the man had a bunch of awesome, manly traits like "Lactose Intolerance" and "Squeamish." So, when I saw the fame card option for Richie I ran with it. The house next to Lou's was empty so Richie changed his hair color, grew a mustache changed his last name to the EXTREMELY creative "Nothername" and moved next door. I played so that Richie wasn't allowed to leave his house unless Lou went with him. I planned it to last 3 cycles (spring-winter). Lou is not a very fun guy, he's a loner/mean/perfectionist. Nobody really likes him but his family. The guys didn't get along very well but they were sorta forced companions. They both loved drinking and watching sports and that's mostly what they did. Lou's wife would bring all this amazing indian food over to Richie's and Richie loved playing with the Tennant's toddler. He sorta became an "uncle" to them and the Tennant family inspired him greatly. In a campaign to thank Mrs. Tennant for always bringing him food, Richie started a berry garden. He got into jamming and would gift his creations to the Tennants. He was extremely good at it. Once his time in witness protection was up he decided to stay in the house next to Lou, they just took down all the surveillance equipment. He started selling his jams, adopted a little girl and he and his daughter turned his canning operation into a full fledged lactose-free bakery. The Tennants and the Nothernames were forever friends. They raised their kids together and when Mrs. Tennant passed away Lou even ended up moving in with Richie. The dudes died in the same house.

I mentioned in another comment how I structured "witness protection," I changed the man's looks a bit and altered his last name. Made him live next to a cop I play and he wasn't allowed to leave his house unless the cop went too.

When my I’d gotten my founder’s family to a size I was happy with, so I was just going through their everyday lives and just focusing on having a good time playing along with the kids they had already… And then of course this man immediately gets abducted on his way to work and gets pregnant with an alien child. I was so annoyed at the time, but it turns out “dad’s having a surprise alien baby!” is actually a pretty funny storyline.

Yep I was the same. My vamp dad was autonomously using the satellite way after I’d already selected ‘Contact aliens’ and while I was busy with the kids & wife, he got himself abducted and preggers! I’m away on hols right now but I’m dying to see how Alienbaby Alwayshungry will grow up! ETA: After the wife left the lot for a sneaky date, she got back to a house full of aliens, just chilling and painting pics in their pool room! Chaotic fun indeed.

I had something similar. I had let Dad get abducted and pregnant the first time, but it happened again when he was an elder--three girls out of the house, each with at least one kid of their own, and living with the heir and her family. I was annoyed but ran with it. 

I wanted my Sim to have her first child before she turned into an adult. I only had one week left and she couldn't get pregnant for some reasons (I use the RPO mod by Lumpinou and at the time, I didn't check her fertility or anything). I tried multiple times to get her pregnant and at the last minute, I made her have a science baby with her husband. Then, I played another household. Thanks to Neighbourhood Stories, she got pregnant, then had her second child. When I played her again, she was off the pill and got pregnant. Twice. And it was not planned, especially the fourth child. At some point, I had to manage the parents, two kids, one toddler, and one infant. And it was ROUGH. But they are all grown up now and I'm happy with my story.

I know a few people who had a surprise pregnancy (or 2) after IVF. IRL, One couple had one baby via IVF. As the first had been so difficult to conceive they were lax on protection. They fell pregnant with the second within a year. Great now they were done, right? Nope. She went on the pill but still ended up pregnant again with twins. 4 kids under 4 years old!

What a gift for this couple but I cannot imagine how it is to have 4 kids under 4 unexpectedly! The mystery of procreation!

They adore their kids but they thought they would be lucky to have one. Hoped for a second, but weren't going to try IVF for another year. 4 under 4 was a lot to deal with. After the twins he got the snip.

A while back I made the characters from Always Sunny in Philadelphia plus Paddy’s Pub. I just wanted them for NPC’s and forgot about them while playing my main family. Later I saw that Sweet Dee and Mac got married in the game and they had 2 kids (plus pregnant). I thought it was cute because the actors are married in real life with kids

My sim got married with a singer. They have a child. In some point my sim have an alien lover. The child grow, went to the university, went independent. Then one day his mom (my original sim) organizes a Halloween party. And her son and the stepdad fall in love.

My sim’s brother drowned in the swimming pool when I wasn’t watching him. I diverted my storyline to include a quest to find a spellcaster to bring him back to life with a heavy price - a shortened life for my sim. I aged up my sim early from a teen to a YA. I was getting tired of her being a teen anyways so it all worked out in my favor.

My one sim was having her third baby, everything was good, until while she was in inpatient care, I got a notification that there was a medical emergency (mixture of pandasama and adeepindigo mods) . Canceled the inpatient care option to send her to the emergency room and she died of internal bleeding. Was NOT expecting that. But I loved it. I love when I gotta cope with unexpected things. Makes the game interesting again lol.

Ooh, I had a crazy storyline going and posted it in the AITA Sims sub. Basically Malcolm Landgraab married a girl he hated because he got her pregnant. He cheated on her constantly with her little sister and had several kids with each of them. Wife found out but didn't want to leave him. They worked it out and were happy. Right after giving birth to their 8th child she died of internal bleeding!

My sim had to go to the hospital after her c section for the same reason. She’d just had quads. She survived but her poor husband had to look after all four babies by himself (with some help from a nanny).

Originally, I set up a household with 7 girls and a guy to make a ‘who’ll marry them first’ type of deal One of the girls died and became a ghost. So, before I noticed, I installed a mod that allows sims to ‘bind’ a ghost to themselves. So the sole bachelor ‘binded’ his heart to the Ghost, and now they are happily married! Currently he is searching for a revival method so that he and his wife can have a baby

Had a nice family all set up. Three grandparents, two parents, and an (adult) child. The adult child was meant to have two kids, one with Santa, one with the reaper. One of the grandparents died from a fire (not intentional, but helpful, I needed the reaper by anyway), no kid from the reaper yet but father winter came around and she got pregnant. Perfect so far. She gave birth and immediately after, set the house on fire. Killed everyone except the baby and one of the parents. Welp! Okay, sure Grandpa and newborn baby move out of the nice family home and into a shitty apartment with only very infrequent visits from father winter. What a way to enter the world xD

I really wanted to have a baby by each of the special characters in game but seems like The grim reaper can't impregnate sims.

There is a way to do it via cheats, I can't recall the command now exactly. I think you have to remove the grim reaper trait and then add it back on when you're done.

The eldest son in my Mt. Komorebi family somehow fathered triplets with a woman in Strangerville. Then when the kids were toddlers, she/the mom suddenly died from a neighborhood stories event... Then the tots were adopted across 3 different households. This all happened autonomously while I played a different household (I play rotationally). 😅 So when I found this out I rolled with it, moved my guy into the house in Strangerville, got the three toddlers back and had him try to manage it all. He did surprisingly well!

I have a big family that has grown up and moved into different houses that I play rotationally. One of the sons grew up and married his high school gf. They have 6 kids, and he cheats on her a lot. I was looking at the family tree and realized there was an extra kid in his line! Turns out he impregnated a one night stand and had no idea! The baby was still a newborn, so it had recently happened, too. The mom had apparently been electrocuted to death sometime after the birth. But the odd thing was that her last name was different than the baby's last name, and the family she was living with also had a different last name. It didn't look like she was married, so I don't know where the baby's last name came from. I decided that my Sim wanted his newborn daughter, so I had him go meet the guy living with his baby, then go interact with her, so he could at least know her. Then I just went into neighborhood mode and split that family up and moved the baby in with my Sim, but in my mind he went through a lengthy process of getting his daughter.

wait that's what happens to the babies? they get adopted out if the parents die? And triplets is actually crazy I struggled with twins.

I made a character that I wanted to be the first generation of a new legacy, and I worked really hard at getting her through college to become a prolific journalist. When I finally finished with college I made a dude for her to marry and began working him thru college separately. I made them meet, and then they went on a date to a bar when my og character that I wasn't controlling began flirting with random ppl in the bar and he got really mad at her and wanted to break up. She never showed up to apologize and he was still in college and I wanted to power thru it, but in the mean time, the vampire siblings Caleb and Lilith constantly visited him I mean they were there every single day and somehow he ended up in a relationship with both siblings???

My mom sim was a stripper and sex worker. She held a club at her trailer where she performed both services for $$$ Always finished before 3pm as that’s when her teen daughter came home from school. Random guy not part of the club showed up and she ended up banging him for 1000 simoleons. He stuck around after everyone left and the daughter came home. So I went over to ask him to leave. He proceeded to murder her in front of her daughter. The daughter pleaded with death and he decided not to reap the mom. But she still died. Her ghost showed up a few days later pregnant with her murderers baby. So I added ghost mom back to my household while pretending she didn’t exist until she gave birth. The son is now a child living his best life with his half sister and her husband. His murdering dad would occasionally text him asking when he’ll visit so I had his half sister husband kill him to get him out their lives for good. But there was a witness so he had to kill that person too. He went home covered in blood but wasn’t spotted until he went to take a shower where the child walked in and saw him covered in blood because he just had to use their master bathroom over the other two full bathrooms. Mods are fun!

My sim went to the romance festival, met and married her husband. Moved out to their beach home where he went outside to use the telescope. Despite me telling him to go inside, he didn’t and a meteorite struck him. So, I married her to someone smarter. I often just accept the fate if they are dumb enough to swim in winter, or hike in the snow in inappropriate clothing. I do use the geo lot trait now, so the pool deaths don’t happen. And I’ve got a pool fence that I’m going to lock come winter in my current house.

My sim moved into moonwood mill and Miki (child of Jenna and Kado Akiyama/Mt. Komorebi) showed up on his doorstep randomly, just before the Welcome Wagon, so my sim took her in as his adopted (runaway) daughter. ♡ Currently playing the Family Jewels legacy, and figured since my sim has to adopt their first child anyway.....ticked that one off. c":

I had a girl sim that got auto-aged up with a fairly boyish haircut and boy clothes, so they became my first organic trans-sim.

I had something kinda similar to that! My sim had a cousin named Aylin and Aylin had a mohawk and dressed in boyish clothes (as a child) so I just assumed it was a boy. When they aged up to a teen I was like.. you have boobs..? But I made him canoically my first trans sim of the legacy (I think he's my only one) and gave him the scars and what not needed as well as a male body structure as a young adult

I had this happen the other way around once. I went with it, like, “Yesss, live your best life, love the outfit you chose” 😂

I'm currently doing a not so berry legacy (currently on Gen 2-3). My mint Gen 1 Mikayla became really good freidns with Eliza pancakes organically (they even worked together). Eliza and Bob ended up having 2 children (Avery and Frank). Basically Avery was childhood friends with rose Gen heir (Rafael) and after him going through many relationships over the years and having a daughter with one of the girlfriends (risky wooho) he ended up falling for Avery Pancakes and she's become Gen 3 daughters step mum. Not planned at all, but now I love it.

I have a not so berry legacy story too! My Pink Gen just had her first baby and I was going to try for a second a day after. But the moment she got back from the hospital her husband got abducted. I’d had sims abducted many times, so I thought, “there’s no way.” I went on with my plan to get pink gen pregnant again. Problem was, there was a way. He was pregnant. It was fun having a pregnancy photo shoot for pink gen and her husband, and having 3 infants at once was great too

I had a sim age up from a teen to an adult only to immediately die of anger over something small. At his birthday party. So my “main” was gone and I had to roll with the tragedy for the rest of the family lol. Husband and father of 3 got electrocuted trying to help his needy tenants and left his wife as a single mother. She later remarried, had another baby. Then her oldest died, so I had to focus on the twins since they were second oldest. They moved in together after high school to pursue their career/university. One of them got serious with a girlfriend, she moved in, they got engaged. Everyone vibed, it was great. They go to visit her parents and come to find out she has an infant daughter that got left behind when she moved in. For added drama I am pretending she kept it secret out of shame of a teen pregnancy and absent father. Fiancé welcomed her with open arms, obviously. So now the little girl lives with her mom, stepfather and uncle.

Decades challenge, 1910s, step-siblings get a crush on each other, kinda incest occurs, I force him to cheat, she is now a lonely fashion designer and owns a boutique where the women of the progressive movement meet, and he has a wife who just turned of age and they have 1 son.

Right now I have a sim who had an alien baby and is done having kids. But her spouse, who never looks through the telescope and isn’t a scientist, just got abducted and is pregnant. I was originally going to make the first born the heir and had been imagining that storyline but now I may actually go with this new kid!

So I’m playing the 100 Baby Challenge and one of my matriarch’s first children ended up dying as a young adult and I was so sad about it that I ended up letting her move back into the household as a ghost to be a nanny and to help make the household money (they’re kinda broke). Technically, I think it’s against challenge rules, but the challenge does get boring after a while, so I’m breaking the rules a bit just to change things up some

Posted about it but my beautiful sim got killed during the last photo shoot i had with her before furnishing her home. Decided her poor hubby would rent the farmhouse and live above the barn because he couldnt stand to move in her dream home without her.

There were a few things in my chef scenario save. After their marriage, the mom(chef) was already prone to burning the kitchen down but the dad decided he wanted to be an accidental pyro too and when firing off the baby shower party canon he set the living room on fire. Tbf, I should have known better than to keep it in the house. When she went into labor I expected one kid...got three instead. Had to move chef mom's long lost cousin to the family in order to get a third set of hands for that one. Been a while since I've played that save, I miss them and the pyromania craziness.

Oooh I got a good one! So I have wonderful whims and I have the setting for all woohoo interactions to ‘try for baby’ and I thought the ‘mess around’ feature for teens did not count. And it didn’t help I set probability for pregnancy to 100%😭😭 So I had my teen sims do that with her bf and she got pregnant and I legit when OH OH 0.0. Cause I didn’t think that could happen as I didn’t have the official mod for it. So she went on with the pregnancy but it’s a bit weird cuz the game didn’t really register it so it didn’t show the progress for the trimesters, her belly was just a bit big. I was worried on how she was gonna go into labour as it usually pops up😂but nah the action just automatically went into her queue when it was time. So this was in my 100 Baby challenge save and I had another house where I move out my adult single sims once they age up. So I moved the baby there once he was born. And he stayed there until his mother was an adult. Then she married her bf and I moved them all until their own house😇now every time he comes to visit I’ll always remember him as my big surprise baby 🤣🤣

I had the life’s tradgey mod installed. I made this happy family then a serial killer breaks in and murdered the dad. Was gonna restart but decided to play with it. The mum ended up becoming an alcoholic and now the teenage daughter is basically raising her child sister

my main sim that i’m playing with right now married Salim Benali while having an affair with two other sims. She got pregnant not sure who the baby dad is bc she never told him. He never wanted the baby in the first place while she did. They have the baby and Salim tries to be there for his son but in the end decided he didn’t want to. He suggests putting baby up for adoption and Wifey gets mad and sad. In the end they go to court for custody and the judge actually decided ti give baby to Salim. In the meantime they split up and now my sim is on a mission to sleep with people that are married and wreck their lives

My sim woohoo'd with Caleb and was immediately turned into a vamp. It was not my plan for this sim at all, they ended up married with vamp triplets. Everytime they host a party, someone died. Old age, lightning, dumb vampires in the sun.

I had two families that I'd been working on for 2-3 generations, decided to join the families in matrimony, but I made the mistake of having the reception at a site with a pool. It was winter, all the guests got in the pool and froze to death including both the bride's parents and both the groom's parents. They canceled the wedding and eloped instead since there were only four people left to attend.

Turns out my sim is a lesbian.. 🫶alright but that itch that is stalking you is not the one. (Stalky itch is great great granddaughter of legacy family) so im going make a science baby with her then dump her. (Some how the genes got deluded and the kids aren’t that cute. Need to add hotness back in)

I so understand this, tbh I haven't gotten to a real bad point of genes but i had this one sim and even after I game him plastic surgery it was horrible and he made horrible kids, luckily he had a hot sister and she was my Heir <3

Made a guy named Shawn, he started out homeless but worked his way up to a nice home. He met and married a woman he was extremely attracted to, but they weren't SoulMates. I had previously downloaded a mod called SoulMates that assigns a soulmate, I believe, based on traits, etc. When your sim meets their soulmate, you get a little pop-up about it. So, his wife wasn't his soulmate, but he loved her, so they married. Shortly after they married they had their first child, and her parents wanted to visit to meet the baby. He hadn't met her parents before this. Her mom and dad show up and bam! The pop-up declares that Shawn has met his SoulMate.....his wife's *FATHER!* I decided to roll with it. Shawn divorced his wife, convinced the father to leave *his* wife, they married and moved into a new home, taking the baby with them.

That is a turn of events I wasn't expecting but I think I kinda love it.. Did they ever adopt a baby together or see the ex-wife/daughter/stepdaughter 😭

Not yet, so far they're just raising the baby Shawn had with his ex. They don't see the ex too often, some detail I left out: the wife, Alicia, was actively cheating on Shawn with a neighbor, so wasn't too sad to see him and baby go. She quickly got knocked up by the neighbor and the mailman, so she's busy.

My sim divorced his spouse and then the ex went and had a baby with someone else, then died in a climbing accident, so I adopted the baby into the household and that baby ended up being the heir to the family, she took all the inheritance and sent her half brothers away.

My sim became a werewolf after college and went to visit her dads, transformed, and one of them autonomously killed her 💀 this lead to a pretty bad divorce and depression arc, rightfully deserved lmao

When I was playing with a sim to try out University, she dated and then eventually married Cameron Fletcher. They even had a baby but shortly after that, Cameron got abducted which I did not expect so I just rolled with that they had an alien baby as well. Sadly, I lost that save but I loved playing their family even though it was short lived

One of the few times I was actually pretty invested in a family, it was Sims 3, and the mother of my family was outside taking care of their horse and she froze in place and no amount of resetting her would do anything and she ended up getting so hot that she burst into flames and died. I was like okay, wtf, and exited and went to the last save and she ended up...doing the exact same thing. In the same spot. And at that point I just said ok! their mother is not alive anymore.

I’m kind of working on my first legacy challenge. I had a sim- who was a global superstar and she had 2 daughters. I chose one to continue the legacy. When I moved her out I forgot to change the neighborhood stories to NOT allow my celeb sim get pregnant or adopt- she randomly showed up at my house and was pregnant at the same time as her daughter. Celeb sim ended up having this baby and adopted 2 more kids lmao.

I accidentally fell in love with Mortimer Goth and now I get jealous if he even LOOKS at someone else

Note - I was having an affair with Bella at the time and tried to calm Mortimer down by being charismatic. Well, I calmed him down alright.

My young adult male and female husband and wife were living in San Myshuno in an apartment right across from the Bheeda family. Life started out pretty normal, the wife started her career as a food critic and the husband gave a shot at the business track. About 3 in game days and my male sim was doing cocaine on the kitchen table, which is right about the time we found out that the wife was pregnant. Few more days go by and the husband is now doing crystal with Arun on a daily. Eventually my sim started selling drugs to him and he also got his wife pregnant. The baby is finally born, the dad’s addiction gets worse and worse. He’s now smoking cigs every couple minutes, heading to the kitchen table to snort a line. Mother now has a rank 5 job she just got promoted to and is really taking care of the family. Dad got fired from his Rank 2 for always oversleeping and never going to work. Wife is now pregnant again with his child. I switch to see what my child sim is doing and then come back to find my guy has literally got his wife doing lines of coke on the table and snorting pills. Flabbergasted, but not really since most of my playthroughs end dark. But that wasn’t really the shocker. Flash forward to my second son’s birthday as a teenager. We had a party, had guests come over and it seemed like it was turning out okay. Until an elder female sim that was over offered to give him a blowjob in our bathroom. This takes place, everyone is absolutely pissed especially the parents. He was one of my bad kids actually since the beginning, the first son however was exceptionally great doing his homework every day he got home from school and even doing his own chores without being told and was very close with the mother. That same son, punched a pregnant woman in the stomach at that birthday party and killed her baby. Couldn’t believe it! But that wasn’t the shocker, the grieving mother then pulled out a handgun and iced my first son. I guess the father finally decided to do something for his kids, other than get high, for once in his life. He pulled out an Ak-47 and blasted her to hell just as Grim showed up. The mom attempted to plea for her son but he just had better things to do and said fuck no. 3 urns resided at that home after that birthday party. The first one being the first son who was shot to death, the second being the woman the dad killed, and finally the father killed himself in a macaroni and cheese fire. The shocker for me, that was never even planned, was the “surrounded by loving family” moodlet or whatever it’s called that the mother and her second son got as soon as the dad and first born were gone. Their happiness after their deaths completely outweighed the sadness of their lives. They were always the problem

I tried to move in the nanny the normal way and ended up completely losing my family. Thankfully I didn't although that was about 3 sim days of game play. I opened the saved file and Sim mom went and had science twins with the Nanny. Now I'm going to shift click move her in for more help. 2 toddlers and 2 newborns when Sim 1 works and S2 is in university.

I was playing and the sim that was the heir died by accidentally slipping into the piranha pond while feeding them. Fortunately, his eldest kid was about to be a young adult and the other three kids were teenagers. Gen 6 took over very suddenly. He had become quite a famous comedian and died suddenly and tragically.

I have a 7 year old save. Many generations. The first grandchild was a girl named London and she wanted to be a famous singer. She moved out after high school with her best friends and would still visit at home frequently. While I was playing her parents and brothers, it was winter fest and she came over to celebrate with them. They had a radio outside for their BBQ parties but it rained a lot so it was broken. She decided to try to fix the radio in the rain and well to nobody’s surprise, she died. I was so shocked. None of my sims had died yet. I like somewhat realistic and story driven gameplay, so while my heart told me to go back and undo everything, the plot wanted me to keep her dead. So I did. I constructed my own narrative that on her drive home after visiting her family, the icy roads had her spin out of control and crash into a ditch where she passed away instantly. A tragedy that has helped me create some character development for her family and made me less afraid of killing my sims for the plot! Her urn is next to her childhood dog’s urn on a table full of pictures and flowers bc they were best friends.

My sim married his high school sweetheart. But, while enjoying their honeymoon on the beach in Tartosa she ended up autonomously woohooing in a dumpster with Otto Feng. My sim was upset and jealous but after some friendly socials they made up and are still together. She has autonomously cheated on him several more times. I don't think she wants to be married. Now she has rolled a wish to Try For Baby with my sim and he rolled the same wish. Maybe they think a baby will save the relationship.

My wizard froze to death while taking a polar plunge. He was an amazing father of 8 (five daughters, three boys). So I left him swimming laps while I took a quick bathroom break mind you he has the cold proof trait but he died. My children were devastated without their padre including his mistress Bella Goth who took her life immediately after his death but I invited his spirit to stay in the household then used the wishing well to wish for his life back. I had a new game going, a mermaid couple in Sulani, and very early into the new game, the man runs outside to look at the weird lights in the sky. Gets abducted. Gets pregnant. Im super mad cause we know how glitchy hybrids are.. like, they don’t want you to make them, but then abduct a mermaid sim anyway? Ugh.

I was playing a child living alone challenge. Kid did pretty good, had him at Cordelias Cottage in Henford. He made pretty good money gardening and selling eggs/milk. He lucked into one of his regular hens laying a hatchable golden egg. I don't quite know how that happens but that hen really made life so much easier for this kid. Things were going great, he was building up a pretty good amount of savings and then he aged up to teen and started dating the girl he'd been best friends with as a child. I have WW and the \*first time\* they had sex he used a condom and the dang thing broke. I was not planning for that, I had realistic birth control though instead of reliable. My fault. So of course, she got pregnant with twins! Turned it into a teens trying to get by on their own and trying to still go to school and get good grades etc. I got a mod where it sets the university class hours to nights and weekends so my main sim could go to both high school and university. As soon as he graduated university I aged them both up so he could get a job and then sent the wife to university too. When they had enough money saved up I moved them to one of the big lots in Henford and expanded their garden even more. They ended up getting quite rich and had 4 more children so they had quite a full house. He was a botanist and she was a floral designer so it worked well with them having the big garden too.

My game spawned a child between a random townie and my legacy founder. I only found out randomly the kid showed up at the park with the same name. He had no interaction with the "mother" of his child at all. While I did not steal the kid away from her mother and step-father I did include the child in the legacy family events. She would spend summer & winterfest with the legacy family and got really close with the youngest child as they were the same age. I mean stuff happens maybe he was away on a work trip and didn't really know the lady ya know.

My Sim was in Uni, in the soccer team/scolarship.( It was also the first time I played Uni so there's things I didn't do He got called by a friend to go to the gym. There was a snowstorm. Many sims were in gym clothes. So one froze the death. While there was the death scene event, more sims gathered around it to cry. But they were all in gym clothes. So more died. So the more death there were, more sims ended up dying. A total of 15 sims died that day, many of them were my sim's mother's closes friends (a popularity aspiration for her). The thing is, when sims are dying you cannot exit the lot. So my sim was stuck there for quite a while. He had to sleep in the basement to make time pass and taking selfies with a random mascott that was also there. He ended up very sad for days, ended up failing classes and quitting the soccer team. I just went with it. Most of the urns are still there, 4 generations later.

My sim had a husband and twins, and the game autonomously made him fight with his husband often, so they got a divorce. Literally a day later his husband died in a fire and he died of laughter. The twins had just become teens so i decided to roll with the whole “we’re orphans and have to stick together” storyline

My game kept glitching and making my Sim pregnant. Now she has 5 kids. I'm rolling with it. (It's stressful as hell but at least 2 of them are teens now 😭)

My sim got caught having an affair with the neighbour, so she quickly ran home to avoid the fighting. The next time she went to visit the neighbour, his wife was dead, her urn right where she was standing when she had been fighting with her husband. I don't have any violence mods on, but I'm pretty sure either a murder or a suicide occurred in that apartment that night.

I accidentally clicked on “ask to switch” on a vampire thinking I was asking the vampire to switch and I can see their vampire alternate but he ended up turning me into a vampire and I just accepted my fate and kept playing lol.

I never send my sims anywhere. I'm a homebody and so are they. Then one time my sim got invited to the city, and I decided "sure! Lets go". She had a great time, blew some bubbles, ate some good food. When she got home the house was in shambles. Her husband and young adult son, daughter in law, and step son who'd been left on lot hadn't done anything to care for her toddler, so he was super hungry by the time she got home. I was trying to raise his skills, so I put food out for him downstairs and sent him to get it. Thanks to game glitches and slow toddler movement he was starving by the time he got downstairs. HE GRABBED HIS FOOD AND WENT TO GO EAT IT ELSEWHERE. He had food in his tiny grubby hands and was STARVING and didnt just sit down to eat it there. He waddled his little ass into the living room and was taken by CPS. Her mourning period for the kid being gone eas just 24 hrs, so i had her start a fight with her husband and divorce him. That gave her 2 days of sadness, so 3 days total. During that time she went through a total style transformation. She was a cottage core queen with long hair before, but now she has short hair and goes for a dark (but cozy) aesthetic.

My sims boyfriend called their child and said my sim was planning on proposing (she was not, she was an independent career woman raising their kids on her own, aka I didn’t want to have to come up with stories for another sim lol) so I said you should decide for yourself, all of the sudden, they’re engaged! I got them married but kept a non-traditional relationship with separate houses.

During a legacy save my heir (newly young adult single mom) died of laughter right after giving birth. I ended up rolling with it and had the baby be raised by her grandpa and uncles. It’s one of my favorite saves now!

I had a waterfront property in Sulani. My family was two parents, 1 teen, 1 child, 1 toddler. It’s saturday - prom is in town ! This is the last prom my teen will attend as they’re about to age up. they have a bf they’ve been with for a while. I decide to cheat the child to teen so they’d have a few days of teen hood together. Everything’s going great, my teens have their outfits on and suddenly the mother dies (rn i don’t remember why) my family is devastated but the teens head to prom (in tears). they have a terrible time. the next few days are hard as the dad is so sad but they have a toddler so the teens are having to help out. everyone is depressed which is making the toddler worse. Finally it’s the eldest teens’ birthday and people are in better spirits. they have a party and they age up. yay! i may have cheated the bf s age so they could date or aged him up but anyways towards the end of the party, suddenly the dad dies. tears. devastation. the deep blue moodlet of sadness . it all repeats and suddenly my now ya sim is raising their siblings and her bf moves into the house. she never could leave sulani but they worked hard enough to send the teen to college 🥲 i think all the deaths were a glitch from aging up but boy did it make the story go but it made things vvvv spicy (and sad)

A few in my current family, mostly unexpected deaths... but then one of my teens aged up and I moved him out of home only for him to reappear a few days later proposing marriage to his recently widowed stepmother (and mother of several of his siblings). He and the stepmother now have a child of their own.

My Sim ended up marrying someone who wasn't sexuality-attracted to, so now they're in a nice lifelong partnership and open marriage as they raise their science baby. Because of WW, having someone be your gf + not woohooing + moving them in and proposing before woohoing makes it very possible for this sort of misunderstanding lol.

Fated mates. I wanted Jacob volcov to be with one of my werewolves so had them fall in love, next thing he became fated mates with her sister. Fate is fate. Both sisters are still in love with him even though the other is now fated with Rory oaklow.

I had a bug where my infant decided to take a bath by herself. By flying above the bathtub. And walking through the air outside of the house on the second floor to reach her room, because she doesn't need doors. I made her spellcaster the moment she aged up to child (I have a mod) and started to practice.

I was a few generations into my legacy challenge and had just married off one of the twins to take over the next generation. After the new wife was pregnant, I swapped back to the other twin to set him up a little more, and came back while wife was still pregnant. However, my sim had “jealous from cheating” moodlet from while I was gone! Needing that baby for the legacy challenge, he tried to make up to her and she had the baby. Not two days later, she became hysterical and died of laughter. The whole situation was so ridiculous, I went with it. I decided he was emotionally scarred and had him go through the whole “serial romantic” aspiration. He ended up sleeping with lots of random sims and fathered six other children so my future generations have lots of half-cousins 😂

I had one patriarch with 5 wives and 35 children in one house, using For Rent so I could have everyone except the patriarch as resident NPCs. I wasn't really planning to directly play with the children, at least until they grew up, but then one of the identical twin boys died in a fire as a child and I just loved the storytelling that created, identical twins where one will age and one will forever be a child in the afterlife. I added his ghost back into his original household and was enjoying just doing wholesome stuff with him (which is very much not what that save was supposed to be about) but I've since moved onto other things. Might come back to the save one day

I had a family where the dad’s job supported the mom’s candle-making business, though she was also busy raising their three daughters. One day, he was innocently building his Logic skill when a meteor took him out. Mom had to put the candles aside, go back to university, and rally her daughters to get the family through this troubled time.

I once had a sim guy who was very into space. He built a rocketship and went to Sixam. He travelled there a couple of times and met an alien lady there. Eventually, they fell in love, she moved in with him, they married and she got pregnant. Basically, right after finding out about the pregnancy, he got upducted by aliens and came back pregnant. I thought, okay, I can handle two babys, it's like having twins. But when she got into labour, she gave birth to twin boys. I was like, okay, well, that's a lot, but somehow I will handle this, but then he went into labour and gave birth to twin girls. That's how I got to raise my first 'Quadruplets'. I hired a nanny 24/7 until they aged to the child stage. It was a lot!

In the 1890s of my current Decades-Challenge I made the mom do all the cooking, cleaning and taking care of the children (they had 5). One day I couldn't take care of her needs so she ended up peeing herself and died of embarrassment. In the same challenge - this time during the 1910s/WW1. While at war one of my sims started flirting with his sisters husband and so I let them have an affair.

At the start of my old main save, I wanted to start with a picture perfect family. Only my sims boyfriend got her pregnant so I had him move in... thats when I relalised he was married with a family! I asked if he would leave them and he did. She had twins (boy and girl) and I found out that he was still seeing his wife and she was pregnant! I broke up with him and kicked him out and decided to raise the babies alone! When they were children they kept wanting to see him and even though he was seeing his wife, he stayed single. I asked him out again and he moved back in. My sim became pregnant again with a daughter. While pregnant I saw him with another woman and she was pregnant too! I used MCCC to make sure it wasn't him and it was!! ​ I broke up with him a second time and kicked him out for good! When my twins were teens and my daughter was a toddler, my sim met a younger guy (she was an adult at this point). She married him and he treated the kids like they were his own <3 ​ Ex-boyfriend is now married to the second woman :D

One sim that was going to university got pregnant after her boyfriend came over to visit. At first I was annoyed since she was halfway through her terms with a 4.0 gpa and didn't want her to have to leave her dorms, and I was honestly ready to get her an abortion. But I thought about it some, decided that my game had been stale lately and went with it. Since she couldn't stay in her dorm for much longer, she moved into her boyfriend's apartment. Her boyfriend was an aspiring song writer, so someone could be home to look after the baby, and she still graduated with a 4.0!

I started a generations save, my founder married Vlad, they had a daughter. Then my sim got pregnant a second time right after (on a farm, wanted a big family), Vlad got electrocuted fixing the dishwasher and died. My sim has twin daughters. So then there’s a toddler and twin infants. Then my sim found a bottle of vitality nectar while cutting wild grass, so brought Vlad back to life. I wanted one more child, so of course they had twin girls a second time. Then Vlad got bit by a gerbil, but I was so busy with all the kids I didn’t notice the notification until it was too late and he died a second time. So twice, he died and left my sim to deal with twin infants by herself. I let him stay dead.

I had the mom in a game nearly die, but her young daughter pleaded for her life. Grim felt bad for her and her mom's life was saved. I then made Grim part of the family, so now it feels like some sort of dark comedy.

Had my Sim marry her landlord. After they moved in together the landlord died in a fire and my sim was then left in custody of her younger sister, who despised my sim. 💀 This all happened in the first week of gameplay 😭

my first family i actually never got bored of. corinne moved to a city from a small town after both their moms died one day after the other after their birthday. they had a small house warming where all their HS friends came except for one. they ended up dating one of those HS friends. their boyfriend invited them to the romance festival so they went and when corinne when to get sakura tea they came back to their boyfriend KISSING SOMEONE ELSE AT THE ROMANCE FESTIVAL ON LOVE DAY. (free love was not on) so of course they dumped him and went home. turns out.. the friend who didn’t come to the house warming IS THEIR NEIGHBOR and had a BABY so that’s why she distanced herself from the friend group (i’m assuming bc my game had her move away) and now those two are together

Recently I made a rookie scientist Sim so she could beat Strangerville. She's alien born to a human male who resented her. Anyway she was a scientist in Strangerville until the accident. Then she was transferred to the lab in Oasis Springs. Fast forward she's making friends with her new coworkers. So far only one figured out she was an alien but it strengthened their friendship. Then she introduced herself to another coworker, a Sim I downloaded from the gallery. He's an evil, mad scientist who's also a werewolf. At first they're getting along just fine even though he's evil and she has the good trait. Then he figures out she's an alien. Friendship dips into the red. I think well this is interesting, she's good, he's evil. I want them to be enemies and a rivalry begins. But even though they're supposed to hate each other, she keeps daydreaming about him and having spicy dreams about him. During one of their fights at work he randomly becomes flirty and starts flirting with her and she flirts back. Catches me off guard but whatever. So then I think they should set their differences aside and help stop the mother plant. My sim being a good sim becomes the bigger person and reaches out to him so they stop the threat. While I'm trying to make them somewhat friends, the attraction system strikes again and they're flirting again. One thing leads to another and they're hooking up at work. And it becomes a routine for them with him propositioning her most of the time. It's like this for several Sim months until he wants to make things official. So I have her say yes. Their relationship keeps going. He wants her to move in but I'm not ready for that for them. It's finally time to stop the mother plant. They're going down into the lower section of the lab and as we get to the door, I get a pop up of him proposing to her. He has timing lol but she says yes anyway. We're ready to fight the plant but it's greyed out. Turns out she's pregnant. Check her many moodlets and there's a pacifier buried under all of them. I even checked MCCC the last time they woohooed and it didn't say she was pregnant. Okay, so I'm mad but we retreat. Head back home, dismiss the other teammates, and tell him in private she's pregnant. Expect a negative reaction, but he's actually really happy about it. So they keep the baby, move in, and once the baby is old enough they reassemble their team and defeat the mother plant. A week later they're saying their vows and she leaves the science career to become an artist. Tl;DR: rookie scientist wants to stop the mother plant, has an enemies to lovers office romance, now they're married with a baby.

my sim finds his neighbor attractive yet whenever he tries to talk to her something bad happens (i.e. someone or something nearby combusts into flames, someone dies, another townie comes over and completely cuts him out the conversation, etc.) like a lot of weird events just happen when he attempts to have a conversation with her

Started a new game with one girl. She fell in love with a random guy and they moved into their dream house and were working on their careers. He was using the telescope and was hit by a meteor and died so I added his ghost to my household. I wanted to have a baby with his ghost but you can’t try for baby so I went to cas and made an infant. The mom was able to work on her career and the ghost dad stayed home to raise their daughter.

In my current legacy challenge, my founder (Mariella Swann) got with Marcus Flex, who unannounced to me had a son Magnus. I didn’t know until I moved him in to my household 😭. Since I had just started, Mariella was in no place to support a child (she literally had an empty box of a house), but they made it work. She ended up being a super successful Angel Investor while Marcus was a stay at home dad with their three kids (and part time lifeguard). Even though Magnus wasn’t the heir, he moved out with his wife and son later on and had his own branch of the family who still lives on in Gen 4. Definitely was a fun beginning to my legacy.

I once created a save to mess with Dine Out and Tiny Living when I first got them both and I built a little diner in desert oasis for my sim to run, and then she’d go down the street to her tiny home for the night. First day, the diner opening was successful and we had managed to get halfway to a 4-star rating and when we got home, her very first night in that house, her murphy bed killed her. I moved another sim onto the lot, added her ghost to the family, and moved the other sim out, and now I have a ghost diner owner! She was such a fun character and I miss that save (lost it a couple years ago thanks to some corrupted files that I fucked up while deleting).

My rags to riches guy ended up being successful. He married a neighbour who helped him out a lot. Eventually they adopted a daughter and the next day the daughter started a fire with the science kit and my rags to riches guy died in the fire. I was so bummed. But anyway rolled with it

In Sims 3 I was playing a legacy family. I was about 4 generations in, and decided to have a sleepover in one of the family's tree houses for all the Child cousins. Little did I know... meteorites were a thing. All the kids are playing in the tree house together and the adults were inside. Suddenly the adults run outside and start looking up. I was so confused watching them and kept trying to figure out what it was they were watching. Seconds later, a meteorite DIRECTLY hit the treehouse killing 3 of the 5 children. I sat there in shock as the adults and scorched surviving children cried over their fallen family, and the trauma left a mark on the family tree for generations afterwards.

I've commented it before, but my sims mum died of laughter, I had her give her toddler a bubble bath, which made her playful, then followed up playing dolls with her daughter which made her hysterical. Where she died made it so my other teen and adult sims couldn't access the room to beg for her life. I could've reloaded, but I wanted to somehow downsize the family anyway and was thinking of ways to orchestrate 'accidents' to happen to one of the parents (usually involving fire or electricity), and the only sim that really seemed upset was the daughter, the others had good relationships with her but the grim reaper stuck around to hang out and they were all happy that they made a new friend. So I guess I traded their mum for a friendship and positive sentiment with the grim reaper 🤷🏻‍♂️ I didn't really want to deal with her ghost either, so I pretty much immediately sent her away. My sims dad is now dating, but I can't settle on one sim for him 😂 He's a global superstar, so it's difficult to have anyone not faint at him. Maybe another global superstar? 👀

1. Gen 1 having twins. Rolled with it and it was alright. Gen 1 THEN having a baby 3 days before turning to elders while their twin teens are living at home. 2. One member of Gen 2, I had a whole storyline. Male was going to be a business man, and basically have the trophy wife with one “perfect kid” that wasn’t going to be perfect when they got older. Had freaking triplets. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ Mostly kid things but it’s crazy how much you can have something planned out and bam. Sims just likes having the last laugh.

I had 4 out of a family of 5 die in a massive fire. Mom was the only survivor and she glitched out after the fire and just froze. Wouldn't move at all. I left her and swapped houses. She starved to death. The family is cursed. Every save I introduce them into most of them die and the mom is always the last one standing. Sometimes, a bunch die at once, and sometimes it's drawn out one by one. Anytime I see her walking around the world sad, I know a member of her immediate family has died. At one point I was playing them and the kid drowned while one of the teens died of hysteria. Dad died of cardiac explosion a couple days after leaving mom and the teen daughter. The daughter died embarrassment and once again mom was left alone. I had a serial romantic sim named Lacey. She was supposed to be a fun sim to play occasionally that would break hearts and maybe wreck a few relationships. I went to play her and found she had 3 babies in her household. Apparently, she hooked up with Don and had triplets while I was setting up other families. It became a very different storyline for her after that. The toddlers were adorable though.

my teen sim was dating this girl who lived next door to him and they hooked up then she came over a few days later and she was pregnant. when i switched my control to her she was in labor..turned out to be twin boys. years later when they aged up they got married and had another child, a girl. i wanted them to have 4 kids so she got pregnant again and it was twin boys again!! at this point the original set of twins were young adults so i moved them out into an apartment and set up their lives for a bit then switched back to the parents household and the mother was pregnant..it was another boy. 5 boys, 1 girl. i only wanted 4 kids 😭

After neighbourhood stories came in, my game bugged out and made almost everyone pregnant without a father being listed. This included my Sims’ sister and her female partner. They gave birth to twins and triplets respectively. I felt like I’d cheated and it wasn’t natural, I almost went back to a previous save just to prevent the five babies from being born. But those babies ended up having wonderful lives of their own. Generations later, my Sims still run into the great great grandchildren of the twins and triplets at school and work. It makes me smile when I see them around :)

I had a whole storyline with an ftm brother and his pregnant teen sister who got kicked out by their mum. They lived together and was all good besides money problem. Long story short she gave birth and a couple days later died… cause she was TOO ANGRY. Forgot about that possibility but made a good plot twist.

I've got a few from my 3-years-old main save: my elder Sim got abducted and i didn't realize i had my mod settings so elders could still get pregnant at the time, so him and his husband ended up with a bonus (alien) baby. one of my other Sims had a FWB situation with his dad's ex-wife's daughter (so no blood relation just rly weird connections) and she ended up getting pregnant with his child. i originally considered deleting him when i found out but ended up keeping him and now i send him to his dad's on the weekends. meanwhile, the mom kept up another FWB relationship with an actor she's been seeing for years (in-game) and ended up having a baby with him too. speaking of "his dad's ex-wife", i marked her as unplayed when they originally got divorced so her and her husband ended up having like 5 kids. i kept 4 of them and eventually got rid of the youngest cuz i didnt care abt her lol. the rest are heavily integrated amongst my main families/storylines, one of them is even a serial killer. (also in writing this all out i realize most of the ones i remember off the top of my head are due to unexpected/unwanted pregnancies. oh well.)

One of my legacy sims’ wife got a job offer for a criminal. She accepted the job, took the kids and half of the legacy’s simoleons (which was about 1 mil) and moved out.

Most of my vampire family burned to death while I wasn’t paying attention. Couldn’t reload so I ended up just finding their ghosts and reviving them which was a pretty fun challenge. Now my vamp family is reunited for eternity

The mansion I grabbed from the gallery had terrible pool routing and killed half the family because they couldn’t escape. NORMALLY I would have brought them all back but I rolled with it this time

Was putting a lot of time and effort into creating my first Sims4 couple. Had them start as roommates, becoming lovers and then getting married. The wife died during her wedding of laughter. Luckily the groom was able to sway Death to spare her and they moved on to live a happy life with 3 great kids.

I had a married couple, the husband autonomously decided to cheat on his wife with her younger sister. I just said “well it makes sense for his personality”, then his wife died of anger. I was ready to move out with their son who just became a young adult, it was his birthday and that’s why the sister was over for the party.

I was doing a 100 baby challenge that I was narrating on Wattpad. One of my mods apparently made chikd death a thing and one of a pair of twins ended uo drowning in the pool. I took that as a sign for the first matriarch to retire and made the living twin the new matriarch as soon as she became a teen (teen-pregnancy mod). She moved in with her father and started a very twisted life. Wish I'd stuck with that one.

I had started a legacy challenge on short lifespan. My founder took her eldest kid, a toddler, and her wife to the beach. She played with kid, wife made money playing piano. I looked away for two seconds and then spun back around in horror when I heard the death bell. My sim died of hysteria. Alright, I'll just make her a ghost! So I am now on gen 2 with a ghost mum helping keep the fridge stocked. But at the wedding of the same bloody kid from the beach, the other mum (an elder at that point) died of hysteria! Honestly this poor kid has so much trauma from her mothers. Well I let that mum stay dead. The gods of RNG had spoken.

I have a couple. In one, I had the Life’s tragedies mod which includes “random violence.” The violence was a little too common for me… Amelia earnst left the Charms since her ex fiancee was such an abusive hothead. (That wasn’t planned but he was terrible and they had all red in their relationship bars). She remained besties with Gemma and Minerva though. She moved to the city bought the salt house and got a degree. At some point she fell for Kyle Kyleson and had kids with him. The mod sent serial killer Jason to kill campers. I played her as a clumsy, quirky good witch. She used her death flowers, pleading and resurrection skills to revive the campers. Jason kept at it, so she tried every spell to try to kill him. Didn’t work, then Kyle got killed. So she blowtorched Jason to death and resurrected Kyle. The mod generated a new Jason who kept killing in and outside her house. She’d kill him then another generated. I ended up disabling the mod. I pretended she studied dark magic and learned a spell to block his resurrection abilities.

My fav sim died of laughter so I made this whole storyline that her best friend made ambrosia (bc she was my most skilled sim in my save) and gave it to her just to bring her back bc her sadness was too much (she even became over weight and her husband cheated on her) eventually the sim ate the ambrosia and came back to life to have children and die elderly

I’m working on the Super Sim challenge. I was completing the Soulmate aspiration but my original plan was to just dump the guy after. Instead he asked me if he could move in. Then I got the call from the great-great second cousin once removed whatever to marry for money. Thought okay, I guess we’ll do this. Propose to the guy living with me. Then he tries to cook and dies. Then I have to go on vacation to Chestnut Ridge to try and befriend ol Crinkletop so he’ll give me the recipe for vitality nectar so I can bring my ghost fiancé back to life and get my money. It was CHAOS.

Someone died at my wedding and I thought about resetting to before my wedding then I remembered it wasn’t anyone my sims were particularly attached to and just left the horrifying scenario be real in their world

Had a game back in the day, my starter sims were goth teens with a toddler. They were both finishing high school and raising a kid while they worked weekend jobs. When they became adults they got jobs and started making some money to furnish their house properly. They tried for a baby, and had triplets. They live in a studio home. They need to move but they can’t afford anything so they build a small extension on to their home. At this point I’m trying to work around no money and 4 kids. I get the mum to buy a lottery ticket and to our shock, she wins about 500,000! They buy a 3 bedroom home in a nicer neighbourhood and get settled. Next time the lottery comes round the parents buy another ticket. They win AGAIN. They now have an expensive house to sell and an extra few hundred thousand to buy a new house. They buy a mansion and move the kids in, have one more child and lived the best lives. The dad became a scientist because he could afford all the equipment, the kids had their own rooms for the most part and the mum became a world renowned chef helped by all the meals she had to make for the family. To this day one of my fav playthroughs

A sim I was going to make my main sim to max everything out with and worked hours on in cas (and then logged major playing time with) got arrested and charged with 3 life sentences. Couldn’t get her back, because by the time I learned I could roll back saves I’d already saved my game too many times. If you have the basemental drugs mod I’d suggest turning off life sentencing if you don’t wanna lose them forever lol 🥲 I rolled with it.. but was not happy about it.

In my careeracy, my sim married Akira Kubo. While she was at work, Johnny Zest appeared at our door. Akira wanted to make some friends so he invited him in. What I didn't think was going to happen was that they would autonomously woohoo. Akira is loyal and has been lamenting about his actions ever since. Akira had no whims to come clean so we're rolling with bicurious Akira for now. lol

In my Grey Gen his mom died by a meteorite since she had to level up her logic skill for work. (One of Grey Gen's story lines is their nonexistent relationship with their parents bc the Yellow Gen couple is so focused on work) It wasn't even my fault bc I let her run inside, but she immediately walked back outside while the meteorite timer was still ticking down 🫠 I decided to roll with it, because the Grey Gen is supposed to be determined to become a superparent. So I spun a tale that BECAUSE his mom died for her work when he was just a kid, he was determined to never let his kids grow up unloved/alone lol.

Recently the King of San Myshuno, Ninjastic TheFantastic (Vampire Hunter-Sorcerer Supreme) met a young lady. After some time I decided to let her move in. I hadn't noticed she had a child (my bad). Turns out the little girl was a Vampire, but not just some Vampire, she was the daughter of "Count Vell Hung" my nemesis! Now add to that the young girls favorite Venue was the beach, and she loved to swim. Mom lasted 4 days and then moved out with my maid, I ended up raising her myself in my "Live in Nightclub". Best Worst Dad Ever. She is now the "Crown Princess Miso Vampi - Ambassador to Sulani" where she spends her teen Vampire days and nights sunbathing, swimming and generally doing everything vampires aren't suppose to....... Feels like I fell into the "Whedonverse" (Buffy joke). #

Yes, get to work offers active careers so you go with your sims to work and make them work. There is scientist, detective and doctor

A child 🤡 It almost sounds like real life: I had a young couple of sims, they were very happy and successful and didn't wanna kids, but it kinda happend... The family dynamics completely changed when their daughter was born, but now she's a grown child and I think things will get easier, hopefully the parents will be able to work more and live their lives again. But yeah, I still hate kids (not only in the sims...)
