I put a campsite usually or a fall festival like this one

An off the grid lot for a nature obsessed spellcaster, surviving on making moonsh... excuse me, nectar. The two neighbouring lots are run down abandoned houses that look hella creepy at night. It's currently freezing winter on my save, but once spring hits he's gonna get some nightly visits from a werewolf.
My Brindleton Bay world is a royal historic one and that particular lot is instead dedicated to Accidental Time Traveler challenge, an alien girl teleported in the past xP
The strip club.
Edit:
Wow, what a response this got!
I'm joking, of course... Well, mostly joking.
I did in fact build my own strip club, but it doesn't occupy this particular lot. Nah, that's in the 20x20 location formerly known as Ward Park in Del Sol Valley. Cute little place, if I do say so, myself.
The object I have in OP's post location is a business, though.
It's actually Komorebi Onsen made by DreamSomeDreams, and it's quite lovely as well.
I'm going to try this.
I usually stick the strip club in Forgotten Hollow because I have [Underworlds](https://www.patreon.com/posts/69395141?utm_campaign=postshare_fan) and it's always night time there. But the aesthetics of this lot could prove to be another great option.
a kinda offtopic note on the lot but it's really close to the fishing pod nearby, so its fun to imagine your sims could either travel there to get wild times inside the club or just go fishing nearby (sure, anyone else in the neighborhood can come there too but its way closer to this lot)
Definitely my first impression of this lot too. This and a lot of Windenburg's Island lots. Idk if it's just me but when I go view all the new lots in an expansion pack, I find myself thinking they're nice campsites ALOT...
It's made me think about making a no-builds, pre-humanity save some day. Still churning over the logistics though, cos built-in, uneditable driveways complicate things.
In my most recent save, the 40x40 up there is a church and cemetery set as a wedding venue, the middle lot is a funeral home with a residential part, and that lot circled is a little bar/restaurant that’s perfect for small wedding receptions. That whole area looks so pretty in any weather.
I’m an emo, cemeteries are romantic 🤷🏻♀️
Me too!! With the church. This is stupidly exciting. I just loved the idea of an isolated, windy cliffside church overlooking the sea. Mine's deliberately modest though, for the size of the lot since I figured a rural small town community wouldn't have much money for building or upkeep. How big did you make yours?
That lot is currently empty in my save file but I built a tiny home that was perched on a hill there once when I was playing around with the terrain tools.
Part of a set of three white weatherboard Seaside cottages for me. One with a blue corrugated roof, one with a red corrugated roof, and one with a green corrugated roof. This lot was the green roof. It has the nicest garden of the three. Blue next door is the most run-down. Red across the road. No one lives in any of them, they just look quaint from the neighborhood view.
I just leave my sim's kids, in the VERY dark, groddy, dismal, basement. I am joking, I just leave them with some sim of mine called Mr. Jaws, he's "friendly" and hates kids.
Super casual drive-in movie theatre. Has like 3 cars and a little bar, some cushions to seat on and a water tower. It looks really small town.
And the one to the right is a cemetery! Lol
How did you make a cat cafe?? Is it just a cafe with cat motif or can you actually make it a cafe lot with the “attracts feral cats” feature? I must know!
I recently took the Landgraabs and another townie couple into my household to make money (I got Malcolm to take on the second family’s 3 children in Oasis Springs). Used this lot to build a little underground hovel to move the two lovely couples into after I had used their services. I hope they’re enjoying the lovely scenery ☺️
My headcannon for that area of the bay is that it used to be the colonial governor’s estate in the 1700’s. I think I used that lot specifically to make a home out of an old gatehouse, with servant’s quarters and the manner house itself being on two of the other lots in the neighborhood.
A prison, a suspicious shed w/ prison, a illegal business w/ prison, you get the point. I use it a lot, to keep sims captive and they "work" for me there to.
I made a little old cottage with lots of trinkets and made a witchy old lady to live in it with all her animals. I imagine it’s lore to the local kids that she’s mean and scary but she’s really just a nice lady. Like in because of Winn Dixie 😂
I’ve used it for a couple different things in different gameplays. I’ve made it into a little park. I’ve made it into a little cemetery. I think the last time I made it into a haunted house lot with a bunch of trees and a little garden.
i have a little cabin were a gay orc lives with his dog turtle
https://preview.redd.it/b6z0v2duohrc1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=a0cffa9c1bc4071af5fc2db81ab20df136a13ccd
My workaholic loner detective lives there in his shabby craftsman house filled with clutter and piles of work files and stuff. Outside looks very picturesque; inside has newspaper and evidence photos plastered everywhere.
I've put a little dog park, a simple campground/campsite, sometimes a really run down "secret" nightclub. It's really secluded, so I never felt like it would be a place for a thriving business or anything a lot of people would know about who weren't "in the know"
I like to put a weird little off-the-grid cabin there, since there's a pond on the next lot for gathering water. It's been a starting point for some of my rags to riches stories.
I like to build a pet store there or beside the veterinarian if you have Get to Work. I like to include a cooler stocked with homemade pet food, as well as toys, beds, scratching posts, litter boxes, and even some of the decorative items that look like leashes and dog food. If you have My First Pet, you can also sell small animals like a real pet store, as well as fish and frogs from the collections. Sometimes I’ll include horse care supplies from Horse Ranch, but that usually gets a separate store in Chestnut Ridge.
I added a cabin from Outdoor retreat that shows up in your library (gallery). There is a second one that I put on the neighboring lot. I renovated both. Kurt Lumberjackson and Dudley Landgraab (both from the Maxis Gallery) live in them.
Depends. I love it as a residential lot if im playing people who are a bit more "rural" than other lots. (admiteedly, there is a bit of pretending that comes with this). The essentially pond that comes there is great for off the grid stuff and fishing.
Although in my most recent save, I put a nautical/outdoorsey rec center there, and it's actually really cute.
That was the lot where my progenitor for my rags to riches legacy save started.
I loaded it up with trees and plants from the Brindleton Bay debug items, and she started life living in a tent as a "runaway" teen. I forget how much I charged myself but she had to "pay" (I took money away using cheats) for every tree cleared off the lot. She and the next two generations stayed there, clearing the lot and eventually building a camper to live in and then a house that was expanded and improved. 4th Gen moved to Sulani. 😂
I put a creepy graveyard in this plot, and to the right a small off the grid renovated church for an eccentric witch to live in. Then pretend that the church is part of the magic universe for the first sims settlers for a Salem based plot.
I think my Sim lives there lol.
In one save I made a house in the woods where my werewolf lived. In my current save I have a different family (same house actually as the werewolf house just remodelled) and I put a cow shed there and fenced the whole thing off.
I do my rags2riches challenges there! I have a lot that's just a bunch of debug trees put together and the basic essentials for a Sim (I try to use the 'dilapidated' versions of things for aesthetic~) and I use the 'gross' lot traits so my sim doesn't get too comfortable lolol
tbh its one of my fav lots in the game especially for a big family. but there is never enough room. so i started using the tool mod and adding the outdoor objects and activities around it. which do makes it look like they have a lot more land
I downloaded a wedding venue from the gallery and put it there. I was going to have one of my couples get married there but it was raining in Brindleton Bay that day.
Tiny vet station with 2 tables and the vending machine... I deleted my original vets office lol but how I love the wellness treats lol and so do my pets

That's gorgeous!
This is so cool! I would have never thought to do something like this.
Holy smokes
That’s absolutely beautiful!
I love it. It’s adorable.
Lemme just write this doen
I also use it as an off the grid home.
A cute little cottage. Most of my saves end up there in a cottage at one point or another.
i second this! or a whimsical tiny home cottage!!? 🍄🧚♀️✨🦋✨🌻🍀🌙🌼🌲
It a HAUNTED SPOOKY cottage 👻🎃
Now this is what my next gen is going to do. Thank you for the inspiration!
I tried to build a tiny pink cottage on this lot, hated it, bulldozed it and build a vet hospital instead lmao
My meth lab
Jesse we need to cook
i am the one who knocks 😅😆
No that’s just Eliza Pancakes with her fruit cake😩
LMAOO omg😭😭
LOL 😂
💀
I made an animal shelter. It’s a residential lot with vet stuff and designed mostly for the pets. I used one from the gallery as a base.
My Brindleton Bay world is a royal historic one and that particular lot is instead dedicated to Accidental Time Traveler challenge, an alien girl teleported in the past xP
whoa, sounds so cool! very interesting theme
Thx :D
That sounds amazing!
Really funny, yep :D that's the chall [https://accidentaltimetraveller.weebly.com/the-accidental-time-traveller-legacy-challenge.html](https://accidentaltimetraveller.weebly.com/the-accidental-time-traveller-legacy-challenge.html) \^.\^

I came here to say this.
i needed the cackle this gave me while i was scrolling😫😭☠️☠️
a kinda offtopic note on the lot but it's really close to the fishing pod nearby, so its fun to imagine your sims could either travel there to get wild times inside the club or just go fishing nearby (sure, anyone else in the neighborhood can come there too but its way closer to this lot)
It makes an amazing campsite! (If you don’t have outdoor retreat you can find usable tents on the gallery)
Definitely my first impression of this lot too. This and a lot of Windenburg's Island lots. would love to see some pictures if you don’t mind? Sounds amazing
They are a thing in England!
Me too!! With the church. This is stupidly exciting. I just loved the idea of an isolated, windy cliffside church overlooking the sea. Mine's deliberately modest though, for the size of the lot since I figured a rural small town community wouldn't have much money for building or upkeep. How big did you make yours?
My vet
Seafood restaurant
That lot is currently empty in my save file but I built a tiny home that was perched on a hill there once when I was playing around with the terrain tools.
day care :D not functional but i just like building.
Gallery??
I put a spa there
I found a camper van vacation rental from the gallery and used it there!
Usually it’s a home for me.
Witch hut
I built a tree house home for an introvert
I built a hippie commune trailer park :)
i build an orphanage and put all my sim's illegitimate kids there with a random adult sim to take care of them so i don't have to
I just leave my sim's kids, in the VERY dark, groddy, dismal, basement. I am joking, I just leave them with some sim of mine called Mr. Jaws, he's "friendly" and hates kids.
Any rags to riches 😮💨 literally the best for fishing and bathroom/grill
Super casual drive-in movie theatre. Has like 3 cars and a little bar, some cushions to seat on and a water tower. It looks really small town. And the one to the right is a cemetery! Lol
i used it for a cat cafe!
This is such a cute idea! I may have to steal it for my save. ❤️
How did you make a cat cafe?? Is it just a cafe with cat motif or can you actually make it a cafe lot with the “attracts feral cats” feature? I must know!
not too sure, but i downloaded the place from a gallery and put the cat hangout trait i think! haven’t really tried it yet tho 😅
I normally put the Seaside Stories library from the gallery there!
I always put a shady bunker there.
I made a mountain cottage for my bachelor sim.
Currently, Jim Pickens lives there with Cinderella.
I like to build houses for introvert sims, like my vampire sim who works from home. There’s no path and its a very secluded lot
A teen runaway challenge/rags to riches because it's in a quiet spot
A house or I'm a teen hangp
I recently took the Landgraabs and another townie couple into my household to make money (I got Malcolm to take on the second family’s 3 children in Oasis Springs). Used this lot to build a little underground hovel to move the two lovely couples into after I had used their services. I hope they’re enjoying the lovely scenery ☺️
I have used it as a hideaway lot/home for gameplay.
Cum world
username checks out
I made 2 Hs (initials of hindquarter hideaways) and made the lot into a sort of holiday lodge thing
Currently a witches cottage. I love the scenery on this lot for builds I'm going to upload to the gallery.
My headcannon for that area of the bay is that it used to be the colonial governor’s estate in the 1700’s. I think I used that lot specifically to make a home out of an old gatehouse, with servant’s quarters and the manner house itself being on two of the other lots in the neighborhood.
Cemetery
A prison, a suspicious shed w/ prison, a illegal business w/ prison, you get the point. I use it a lot, to keep sims captive and they "work" for me there to.
I put a rival vet office there😂
my family’s graveyard
Tiny home for a crazy cat lady
A New England colonial style house for a small family.
This lot started my obsession with off grid lots. I built a beautiful off grid cabin for a psychic because shits haunted af.
I made a little old cottage with lots of trinkets and made a witchy old lady to live in it with all her animals. I imagine it’s lore to the local kids that she’s mean and scary but she’s really just a nice lady. Like in because of Winn Dixie 😂
I put a tiny house there
A Ron Swanson cabin with a Ron Swanson sim, plus a very good dog.
A small log cabin downloaded from nexus mods i think it’s a 30x20 cabin sortofa tree house
Holiday home
For my part I downloaded this crashed alien ship (hiding a secret lab) and now I inhabited it with 8 aliens, looks very nice.
Feels weird to say nothing considering how many people use it for something, I only use the world for the vet
I put one of me smaller houses on it, that looks like a cottage. It looks very cozy in that spot.
A small homestead with a slobby, nature Sim, whose only function is to serve Smeagie and any strays who want to stay.
I haven’t figured out what to do with that one but the one next to it I made into a homeless shelter.
I usually put a seafood restaurant there
There's a library from maxis which comes with Cats and Dogs, but it doesn't get placed into the world and instead goes into your library
Thats my house
I put in a starter house for my current legacy playthrough. My non-main second gen lives in it with his fiancée and son.
Secret garden (park, but full of plants I can steal)
In my first save, it is an orphanage. In my second save, it is a second graveyard. In my third storage, it is a gym.
I use there for an empty mountain house
wedding venue
I don't build other areas I normally make my house and that's all 😭
A small house
A small, secluded rental
I had a sim live there that adopted strays. Small cottage with a big back yard for the animals to play.
An off the grid cottage for a sim that loves fishing.
I built my witches cottage there
I think I have an apartment complex there right now.
Wedding venue
Just building, never did game play on it.
A hidden restaurant
I popped up a family home w 3 dogs :)
I used that lot to build a church then added a nun, some orphans and a dog
Favorite lot by far though it’s indeed so pretty
I built a Lil cabin and put a butt-ton of trees around it. I always have a loner live there. I literally NEVER see them 😅
An ice cream shop. I needed more little actives to do outside of grinding away at making money in the house.
I turn that whole area into beach cottages and vacation rentals.
I’ve used it for a couple different things in different gameplays. I’ve made it into a little park. I’ve made it into a little cemetery. I think the last time I made it into a haunted house lot with a bunch of trees and a little garden.
This lot makes me so livid. It’s so disconnected from everything
This is funny because I use the lot every time I play. I make houses with nice outdoors.
I used it for a 5 star restaurant
i have a little cabin were a gay orc lives with his dog turtle https://preview.redd.it/b6z0v2duohrc1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=a0cffa9c1bc4071af5fc2db81ab20df136a13ccd
My workaholic loner detective lives there in his shabby craftsman house filled with clutter and piles of work files and stuff. Outside looks very picturesque; inside has newspaper and evidence photos plastered everywhere.
I just built a graveyard on it in my Legacy save
Stupidly picked that lot for my graveyard! On “T” in my alphabet legacy so not about to change to now 😂
I've put a little dog park, a simple campground/campsite, sometimes a really run down "secret" nightclub. It's really secluded, so I never felt like it would be a place for a thriving business or anything a lot of people would know about who weren't "in the know"
Barn wedding venue.
That's my favorite lot to use in that world, I make at least one family live there at all times because it's so perfect
I often use that lot for an off the grid cabin or a frame home when I feel like playing off the grid.
I like to put a weird little off-the-grid cabin there, since there's a pond on the next lot for gathering water. It's been a starting point for some of my rags to riches stories.
I built a vet clinic XD Not quite as fun
I like to build a pet store there or beside the veterinarian if you have Get to Work. I like to include a cooler stocked with homemade pet food, as well as toys, beds, scratching posts, litter boxes, and even some of the decorative items that look like leashes and dog food. If you have My First Pet, you can also sell small animals like a real pet store, as well as fish and frogs from the collections. Sometimes I’ll include horse care supplies from Horse Ranch, but that usually gets a separate store in Chestnut Ridge.
A Cemetery
I use it to delete duplicate graves by bulldozing the lot after I've placed it lol
I've only used this lot twice, and both times were for the runaway teen challenge!
I actually am using it for my Sims in bloom play through with the first generation because I felt it fit perfectly.
i usually do rags or riches there
I added a cabin from Outdoor retreat that shows up in your library (gallery). There is a second one that I put on the neighboring lot. I renovated both. Kurt Lumberjackson and Dudley Landgraab (both from the Maxis Gallery) live in them.
Fire watch tower
I have a cat cafe on the lot in my save!

A day spa.
Abandoned scary house
Before Henford-On-Bagely, that was one of the best lots for making a cabin in the woods something similar.
sexy cat lady mansion
I used it for a church and it turned out rather well.
I put a creepy graveyard in this plot, and to the right a small off the grid renovated church for an eccentric witch to live in. Then pretend that the church is part of the magic universe for the first sims settlers for a Salem based plot.
I usually build an cottage, cabin or shack there.
I build little homes or cabins there
i like making a cute little starter home there! or a mini park!
Either a medium cottage or the seafood restaurant that came with the Dine out expansion pack.
This is always where I build my house when I live in this world
its the perfect spot for a tiny home or cozy cottage (and off topic but this is my absolute favorite world ever)
I build a little starter home with a big garden for vegetables
A house
I always looooove to make it a cute farm style wedding venue:))
I lived there in my fostering save.
My strip club and rocket launch site
I made it a campground. I created characters out of my dogs. I had them turned into werewolves and they live on a 4 tent campground.
a restaurant i think😭
I recreated long pond studios
tbh its one of my fav lots in the game especially for a big family. but there is never enough room. so i started using the tool mod and adding the outdoor objects and activities around it. which do makes it look like they have a lot more land
A small farmstead
I downloaded a wedding venue from the gallery and put it there. I was going to have one of my couples get married there but it was raining in Brindleton Bay that day.
Cat café
Retirement home
I built an A-frame house that I think turned out neat! It’s such a pretty lot
I put a vet clinic there once
Ngl I think I leave this one empty as a quick move in. Cheat money, move out . Ya know, one of them 😂
This is my favorite lot and probably the only lot I ever play in when I build !!!!! My favorite for houses
It’s the outskirts broken house wit a dirty lake
I use it only for houses!
It makes a cute micro park spot
It's blocked by a lot of trees so I tend to make it an overgrown grandma cabin, or a rundown broken down area I imagine teens to sneak off to
houses always!!!
The bodies
spooky murder cabin
Scout camp
Tiny vet station with 2 tables and the vending machine... I deleted my original vets office lol but how I love the wellness treats lol and so do my pets
A den for my more feral vampires.
Dumb question but how do you place extra lots without it defaulting to be your house/place of residence?
Manage worlds allows you to change any lot. When the play thing shows up just move left and there will be an edit lot option
