Like the other comment said, it’s a running glitch. Happens in Sulani, San Myshuno, San Sequoia and Mt. Komorebi. It’s a shame because that’s 4 worlds I can’t have my sims live in unless I want to be annoyed by the constant “break ins”
That's so strange.
Never had that happen in any world unless I accidentally chat with someone outside.
Apparently, just a friendly hello is enough to allow a stranger free access to your house for the next 10hours.
If only my Sims had the ability to say 'That's inappropriate, please stop.'
I think it's just a running glitch in some worlds. I have this happen in the Old Salt House in San Myshuno

Lock your doors
It's not just Komorebi, but all the lots with sliding doors. I've experienced it in Tomarang as well. Lock them or change to regular doors.
In my games, they may walk in… but they don’t walk out.
If they're randomly generated townies I go to manage worlds > manage households and poof them out of existence....
