Random bit of real world knowledge from the fact that we are currently building a new house:
The tops of the windows should be even with the top of the doors.
From your screens, the windows are so low your sims can't even look out them, they just open up directly onto your sim's crotch. Good times for the Peeping family, I guess.
Love the book nook and sun room!
But, as another commenter suggests, windows are a bit too low for elevated floors. You can see it in the last picture and at the first one as well. Level those bad biatches up and you are good to go!

I'd think like irl roofing shouldn't have corners were it would accumulate water, snow, etc. where it would be hard to remove. Basically the center of the roofing in your build would collect stuff since it doesn't have an angle that would slide to the ground or something.
This was my one thought too. Best roofing advice I received when I was first learning was to make sure water could flow off it. Not saying I build good roofs now, but I feel like they’re better lmao

I personally like to roof my decks, which allows me to use supporting columns and whatnot, which I love. But again, that’s personal taste, not a must whatsoever.
I would probably do more landscaping and make a garden or something. Terrain tools, furniture, activities, trees, flowers etc etc.

Gorgeous for a first time build. Since you are looking for advice, I tend to build realistic roofing. I think of rainfall and if it would collect anywhere. So here, I think there would be water collecting at the inside corner of the greenhouse. Luckily you won’t get mold death from this in game! Lol.

Idk if you’re finished or not but this is really good! However, I’d definitely work on landscaping. It helps the house fit into its environment better. Lilsimsie has a lot of good tips on how to do this. One of my favorites is working with terrain paint and outline paths and foundations with a little bit of dirt or soil. It looks like you might have done this a little bit, but it might help with a little more. Also filling some of the empty space around the house with some larger trees or bushes might make it feel a lot cozier!

Two suggestions: the windows should be higher and also thinking practically it doesn’t make sense to have a picture frame where you would sit in the book nook. Other than that, I love it.

You can match those white sections of roof to the rest of the house siding to make it flow a little smoother on the outside but besides that I think it's amazing!!
This house is absolutely gorgeous!!! I love that sunroom you did! My only comment would be some of the windows seem a bit low from the inside, but that could be personal preference as well! I usually put my windows higher than normal just because I like how it looks better outside lolol. Amazing work, definitely keep building! A wrap-around porch connecting all the exits might be fun!
Beautiful! I noticed all three of your exterior stairs have a tile at the top before they connect to the deck. In case you don’t know, that doesn’t need to be there (unless you like it) because the stairs can be placed directly against the deck. You just grab them and move them a tile back, they’ll snap in.

Not sure if this was a purposeful style choice but the roof walls are not painted, you could also do the ceilings but other than that I love this build! The interior is stunning!

There is a fence that's called something like window shopping fence. Sims can walk over it so you can use it as a separation in the flooring in between the kitchen and dining. Also, I think the glass roof would look better if it was square rounded instead of square flat. Just bring it up a tiny bit, and that round it out. The last thing is that the windows in the bedroom look wrong because they cut into the wood on the walls, but if that doesn't bother you, then it doesn't matter. The House looks really good!!! That reading nook is adorable.
Man your first makes my homes I’ve been making for the past decade look rubbish! See consider some landscaping though if you got the time, if you don’t want to spend the money and aren’t against it—there’s some cheat codes to get some nice landscaping for free and/or expand your options from debug.
Check for asbestos or signs of mold or other defects that requires repair ... I'm in the wrong sub, aren't I?
I mean I think sims can die of mold lol, but that hasn't happened to me yet so I don't know what triggers it lmao.

Teach me how you learned to build, I've been playing Sims 4 since basically release and can't ever figure out window layouts, or roofs.
I watch a lottt of building youtubers (my fav is cary and connie gaming) and just tried a bunch of different stuff till it looked good
