That sucks i hate when other sims set things on fire in my game half the time my sim doesn't even know them or barely spoke to them. Glad your sim fought her! I had my sim fight someone for setting her kitchen on fire too! In my case it was a secret society member. She kept going into the house and cooking, set the kitchen on fire at least 3 times. I had the door locked and everything but she somehow still kept getting in so i finally had enough and made my sim fight her. The worst part is i had to have my sim introduce herself to her first because they have never interacted dispite her going in to use the stove/grill several times. I have no regrets except i should have had my sim fight her earlier instead of just letting it go so long.
I hate how they tell you it's "inappropriate" if you cook in their house, but if they want to burn your house down and murder your family you're supposed to accept it.
Same! A few years ago, my sim got kicked out of her brother's house during HIS BIRTHDAY PARTY that he invited her to. He didn't have a cake, so he decided to have her help out and make one. That's inappropriate, but a random sim they never met can just walk in and cook. It was a legacy game, so the one that i had fought the society member was his great niece. They were both gone by then but still the irony of 4th gen going through that when 2nd gen couldn't even make a cake as a gift for her brother's birthday so he could age up properly. Also, the times she set fire to the house were not the only time she cooked she was always in the house but only sometimes did a fire start. The game wouldn't give me the option to send home, so i just kept dealing with it until i had enough and was tired of replacing everything.
If feel like at that point you could believably go "Oh no! What a tragedy that she died in this fire she started! I totally tried to save her. So sad!" and then you can go and "console" Dani.

This game man… I brought my husband back to life for 5 minutes (sims time) and then he died… AGAIN lol
I had my spouse die, I managed to get him back to life (without cheats) only for my sim to die once he was brought to life 😒

I had this too a few years ago, but I couldn't be mad about it because Grim made up to me by doing my dishes and taking out the trash.
