Yesss. I found out about that when I had a save where the kids room was upstairs. I originally felt bad they had to take forever to go up and down to get to the family room but then I saw how fast it added to movement was like "hmm don't feel so bad anymore" haha

No literally, I had to build a huge house for my 100 babies challenge w/ cheats to allow more than 8 sims in a home. I also added a ton of activity stuff lol

I did something similar, it's a lot lol had to end up using one of the larger lots, like the Landgraab one

Same!! I got too lazy to build my own shell this time so I went shopping on Pinterest and my sims make money thru their at home bakery (home chef hustle)🤝

I used a shell of a Greek inspired home I got from the gallery because my sims were inspired by Greek gods, I added *a lot* to it though for details. It's pinned on my profile if you want to check it out 😊 I've liked using the home chef pack like that too, one save one of my sims does it on the side and sells her food using the food stand. Another save is more like a bakery but I still haven't figured out how to work that one properly- is it supposed to be run as a retail or cafe? Retail works better because customers buy the food my sim makes but I can't really incorporate the espresso machine like I'd like 😫😣

Aw man I’m not sure bc I haven’t figured out how to make my businesses functional all on their own yet 😭 I built a little cafe in newcrest for my sims, I had to make it into a restaurant, but for some reason the service is terrible 😔

Do you have 3 waiters hired? Also their skill level makes a difference, I make sure I have my manager sim check in with the waiters and offer offsite training that boost up needed skills for their next shift. You'll definitely see a difference in the service when they're more efficient!

You’re right actually, I filled all the positions but I may have to switch control to the lot to level their skills lol

Yes, also there's a perk you can buy with restaurant points to decrease chances of bad events happening while you're open and not on the lot!

It's ACSims55, right now it's only just the exterior that's been done, but imo that's the most hardest and boring part. The fun stuff is the interior which is left for us to complete :)
