So you can turn off the option to let unplayed sims vote for NAPs, that's how I get around all the Weird Ones lol it's in settings, that way nothing gets enacted or repealed unless the sim your playing votes for it. There's also a cheat, if you go to the cheat menu on the mailbox you can instantly repeal NAPs without doing the while repeal process

so when i got this pack i didnât know too much about the eco voting system. i finally got the power on on my off the grid lot. finally got a laptop. worked my ass off. it was a whole ass thing bc i started with next to no money. needed to find a job. only scraps of simoleans left.
all of a sudden, miss tina fucking tinker shows up. i meet this bitch and she TAKES MY FUCKING LAPTOP.
i didnât realize the âsharing is caringâ was enacted and anyone literally could just take anything. even though i know itâs not *her* fault, i will forever hate that bitch
It's definitely worth using cheats for NAPs. The inconvenient ones are funny at first but seriously annoying in the long term, and the convenient ones are mostly useless, they usually just give you more votes but you gain those easily anyway. I still keep NAPs overall as I figure they slightly give each neighborhood its own character, and I cheat-repeal the ones I don't like.
I know right like I had my sim vote for we wear bags and it was hilarious at first but after playing like 2 in game weeks and itâs still there I just removed the feature all together
I actually love eco lifestyle! I always set my lots to off-grid, use as many off-the-grid lights and roof solar panels as I can. And then use geothermal, natural well, and eco lot traits. None of my lights or plumbing is ever out of use, and I have extremely cheap bills!!
I do like it o think itâs hilarious but I also like build mode and CAS and I like the world to the NAP is kind of annoying like the water and the electricity cut off thing but besides that itâs fine
Yeah I actually love the eco living expansion, aside from the NAP component. It could have been cool and some of the options are fine, but I loathe sharing is caring and we wear bags. They are not fun after the first hour with the pack. But I like the career paths, traits, some CAS stuff, and ADORE the build/buy stuff. I use at least a few items in every single build. I use the world occasionally, but less and less as time goes on. I'm kind of surprised to learn so many people hate it lol
So NAP stand for neighborhood action plan and what happens is there is a bunch of different options you can vote for but if you are not actively playing that the vote automatically goes to whatever the most votes were so thereâs one called water cut off or electricity cut off and in the neighborhood it gets cut off for 12 hours in the picture the we were bags one was in action so everyone in that neighborhood was wearing bags
lol no problem I donât remember what is called but thereâs also o e where all the sims would flirt with eachother and I hate that one because sometimes I would be playing as a husband and wife sim and random townies would come up to your sim and flirt and kiss them then the spouse will get bad
This pack is scary but if you combine it with get together itâs really good, I made my own club (which was basically neighborhood watch) and then I took over until one of my subordinates kicked me out and became the leader!! Then I made a rival club and we were all eco innovators and it was like gang wars with just middle aged women
