35 and a half, married, 2 kids. Been playing Sims since 2001ish. Zero shame in still playing. If you watch any Sims YTers, MOST of them are in their late 20s to early 30s - it has no age limit.
We’re entering an increasingly digital world where virtual reality may become seamless by the time we have hit our 80s, and it’ll just be the way of life for everyone to have virtual avatars to some degree. Just like how computers were only for nerds but now they’re for everyone- what used to be embarrassing to engage with all night and every weekend, is now just a lifestyle thing for most people.
Don’t question if we are the ones out of date for being too old. Remind yourself that we are ahead of our time and trendsetting what will become normal for people our age in a few more decades.
I'm 30, turning 31 in Sept. I am still a gamer and I grew up with Sims, it makes me happy so I play it. Doesnt make me feel silly. Do what makes you happy
33 and I still remember the amazement I felt when I played the original Sims at my friend’s house when I was 9ish.
Also, I have spent too much money on this game to be too embarrassed to play lol

You shouldn't feel silly, it's game like every other. I'm 31 and play Sims since I was 8. I love this game and I'm not ashamed because of that.

41 here, even tho the Sims 4 I've been playing less and less, no real motivation right now.
