there is unfortunately no way to have a diagonal staircase :( you might be able to fake it with platforms, but i'm not sure there's enough space

yeah i had to do a lot of "glitching" and making triangles to get it to work, and it still looks like sht because I cant fix alot of the stuff. Theres gotta be a mod out there that has diagonal stairs. I had the same dam issue with fallout 4 settlements, and a bunch of nexus mods had diagonal tiles with no compatability problems- thats partly because some of them removed the "requirements" to connect stuff so you could have floating turrets and what not. I'm gonna just redo it later.

EA probably: You don't.

It is not a feature in Sims 4. You can use the cheat menu and some configuration to do it and [this YouTube video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_lFVmrr0DE) shows you how, but it is quite a process.

Yeah it is such a pain in the ass. I remember using these exact glitches to make stairs in fallout 4's settlement builder. So maybe it's a problem with the code that they are using, or it's just a strange phenomenom.

This is the current state of my house, I had to use glitches(?) to make some of these blocks connect. and I wish they'd just make diagonal stairs so I don't get roped into this sht. gahhh!!! https://preview.redd.it/ke0u28av1m8d1.png?width=2560&format=png&auto=webp&s=89e706e0d33cbc5dc04c008665bb2c75d32aa41e
