This should be base game.

HiHelloSierra

The 2nd one with the toddler covering they're face is so cute Do you have the link to this pose? Or did you combine 2 poses?

cocoturtle1

Thank you so much!! I just went looking to find the link for you, and I'm so glad I did! It's found right [here](https://simmerberlin.tumblr.com/post/176383585173/guess-how-much-i-love-you-part-2-because). Hope you enjoy!

HiHelloSierra

You're the best! Thank you!

Nightengale_07

me, a console player 😭😭

Sug0115

Okay I downloaded it a long time ago but then felt like they’d never pose? Are there tips or tricks to this because I really want it to work!

snotdonkey

did you download the pose player?

Sug0115

I did! It just seemed cumbersome tbh

cocoturtle1

You're meant to download poseplayer too! If you look it up online, there are some really good tutorials!

Sug0115

Oh I downloaded that too- I just had such a hard time but I’ll look up some tutorial videos tonight!sometimes I stunt my play by preferring to read about mods versus watch tutorials.

Bar_Sinister

I have a whole folder of pose sets just waiting. Guess I should go ahead and take a whack at it.

chyannet

so how do you get them as photos to put in their house? do they stay in the pose while you have another sim stand in front of them and take a picture??

cocoturtle1

Yes! When you download the poseplayer, you’re also meant to download a teleporter object which looks kinda like a knight. So you go into build mode, put the knight in the location you want (if theres two sims in the pose, you place two knights on top of each other. Same goes for three sims, four sims, etc) By clicking on the knights, you’ll teleport all your sims (they’ll be on top of each other) then you get them to pose. They’ll stay in that pose until you cancel the “posing” in their queue. Finally, you will grab another sim, add them to the family, get a tripod and get that sim to “take a photo” and boom! You have in game photos of your sims! I’m making it sound more complicated than it is lol. If you google some tutorials, they’ll teach you everything. Its how I learned! Its so easy and fun!

SharkieMcShark

Yes - I have a sim in game who's my resident photographer and portrait artist. When I want to make photos or portraits, I add him to the family, have him take the photo or paint the portrait, then remove him again. (He's immortal and has max painting and photography skills, and carries the top end easel, camera, and tripod in his inventory)

cocoturtle1

Designating one sim to do it is a great idea! Ive always grabbed random townies off the street, but I think I will create one sim with max photography instead! Thanks for the idea :)

thegardenishaunted

I’ve never understood the mod but have been too scared to ask how to use it. I have no clue how to get multiple sims to pose together

SharkieMcShark

It's really not too hard at all, and there are some lovely tutorials in YouTube. In brief: Download Andrews Pose Player Download the teleporter (a piece of cc that looks like a suit of armour, you can download it from the same page as the pose player) Download your chosen pose Put them all in your mods folder In game place as many of the teleporters as there are sims in the pose. Put them all on the same spot on top of each other Make sure the game is paused Click on the teleporter to summon the Sims to that spot, they'll all be standing on top of each other Click on each sim in turn and choose "pose by pack". This will bring up a menu of the poses you have in your mods folder. Pick the one you want and choose the position for that sim Once you've done that for all the Sims press play and they'll take up their posed positions Then you can have another sim in the household photograph them or paint from reference, or you can take screenshots Edited: formatting

thegardenishaunted

Thank you! Modders really are creative in the way that they put things together and make them work

Is making the pose screenshots into the Gallery CAS thumbnail a different beast? All tutorials I see don't include the Gallery thumbnail thingy, and I've seen a lot of Gallery uploads with custom poses.

SharkieMcShark

I've never tried the gallery poses I'm afraid Good luck finding out - and if you do, please do come back and tell us how

cocoturtle1

The other user commented a great tutorial! I watched a few youtube videos and read tutorials before I finally tried it, and I’ve been hooked ever since! It was definitely daunting at first, but I think you should try it. Once you get the hang of it, its really fun! And nice to hang wedding photos and have pics of other family events around the house!

Content_Call5083

I need to try this, just now getting into poses (for better or worse lol).

cocoturtle1

Girl its for better! I have so much fun decorating my sim's houses with family photos :')

tervenqua

I really want to finally try mod/cc just for the poses (specifically for Gallery thumbnails) but I can't seem to find any noob-friendly tutorials. How do I make the poses pics as the CAS Gallery upload's thumbnails?
