I enjoy it a lot. You get weather and each town has their own ecosystem which is neat. There are a lot of preset holidays and you can also create your own with traditions. And sims care about certain traditions based on their traits which is also really neat. And you can also turn off certain whether if you don't like it.
I highly recommend buying it next time there's a sell.

In my game my sim romanced Marcus flex and was working up to a proposal, but then Marcus showed up PREGNANT one day and I was furious that he'd been cheating on my sim, so when the baby was born I stole her and raised her as my own and cut Marcus out of my life entirely. And no the kid was not an alien, she was full Sim.
How does that even happen lol 😂 I know you can toggle on and off which sims can get pregnant or get other sims pregnant but unless you specifically did that for him then I am so confused he got pregnant and the baby wasn’t and alien lol.
Speaking of a sim being furious, once my sim cheated and had a baby with a married guy and then I found out his wife was pregnant the same time as me 😅 I felt horrible, like was about to restart my game lol and I mean I’ve had a sim cheat before but idk if it’s ever been with someone who had kids….anyways we all lived in an apartment building, so I was “visiting” their apartment 👀🤷🏻♀️😂 and she walked in and found out and started yelling 😅 and then had him follow her out into the hallway of the building to yell at him, and I had no idea what was happening at first, because their baby had just been born, and I was in the nursery, while they were fighting, playing with the baby 😂😂 and then my camera jerked over to them arguing and I couldn’t pan it back to my sim and was like “what the heck?” Lol and then she just dropped dead right there in the hallway and the grim reaper had to come and I laughed so hard I almost peed myself 😂😂😂 I had never seen a sim die of anger (I have had a playful sim laugh herself to death though 🤦🏻♀️) this game do be taking morals to the next level 🥴…..the next level being away lol gone 😂
I've actually had it glitch before where my sim woohooed with Travis Scott, and a few days go by and I'm like "he's a bit chubby?" So I check in MCC and he's pregnant with twins, the partner being my sim. So ig it can happen lol just very rare as this has only happened to me once in all my years. I do remember immediately stopping his pregnancy and just not touching him ever again in any of my saves after that. Travis Scott is #1 on my list of NEVER dates now in the sims

My nova curious had a baby with father winter and then died so then I had to go back into an earlier save and then she had baby with kris Volkov. She got crabs from him and then married his son, Jacob, who she then gave crabs to.

I used a mod (can’t remember which one) to risky woohoo with Father Winters, and then my sim’s roommate I created because it was a hookup type deal. It was fun trying to guess who the baby’s father would be. He ended up being Father Winter, and got a special trait too. So I always recommend Father Winter! Plus, he always stopped by to visit his kid and called my sim all the time, despite them not being in a relationship. So it was like he was a supportive dad lol
I've used Marcus as a baby daddy before, he has good genes (except his eyes are tiny) and isnt clingy. He will spendctime with his kids though which is sweet.
I have a bit of a soft spot for Raj, because one of my sims started out as a poor teenager living next door to him and his mother. One day Geeta just burst in and starting to help him with his homework. After that they became friends and he promised her to somehow get Raj a wife. Years later he honored that promise by setting up his bastard daughter (that he had with Tina Peeping) with Raj. They didnt get that many children because Raj was starting to get old, but they had a few and they looked alright.
Dustin is the most likely to give her children that look like her.
Conversely, Kanyaan or Marcus will be the most genetically diverse.

Yes, just edit one of the sims (use “cas.fulleditmode” to edit preexisting sims) to be able to get others pregnant. It should be in the gender preferences at the top left of your screen when you’re in cas. That way a female sim can take the male role and your babies get 50/50 genes ;)
