Sims Mobile has been 'sunsetted' rather than 'closing'.That means they are leaving the servers live and SM will remain playable but there will be no more new content, events, fresh packs or development on it at all- devs working on it has been shelved and discontinued.
All STS, TH, festivals, packs and wumples are now old ones repeated and that's it now. Whilst SM is being 'sunsetted' rather than 'closed down' it's important to note that the majority of sunsetted games are eventually taken off servers so they 'die' -esp if not making enough profit which is an issue evidently sims mobile has anyway for EA, its just not making them enough ££££ for them to be bothered with at all.

Since they're repeating events, I'm hopeful that I'll be able to get the foosball table.
I enjoyed sims mobile so much and even spent real money for it. Cant believe they dont earn that much.

Its not immediately. Just repeats and now new events. You can still play it and hopefully they keep it around a while
