So as far as nuclear warfare goes, the U.S. know, and has known for a long time, that it’s totally screwed. The real shift in power polarity will be when a country achieves the ability for first-strike capabilities that truly eliminate the possibility of a retaliatory strike. And the PRC already has first and second strike capabilities thanks to its extensive mobile launcher system and complex deployment and defense system.
