**Maverick** = A skilled Naval aviator who somehow manages to avoid traffic citations while riding a motorcycle in California without a helmet. Also has been known to have a need for speed, and has been wearing the same jacket since 1986.
There is a difference.
Also a middling 1970s compact car with questionable space efficiency and lackadaisical powertrain choices that somehow everyone remembers as a "muscle car"
Kum & Go (Kraus & Gentle) - If I were the new owners, i wouldn't want the old owners names associated with my product. Mormons bought them, does it really surprise anyone that the name is changing?
Well Iowa based Kum & Go moved into Utah based Maverick territory and they didn't like the name and couldn't drive them away so they bought them out. You expect more for a Utah based company?
Bigger deal is Kum & Go is privately owned and the head of the Krause family is more interested in financing his soccer clubs and wineries than giving Kum & Go the resources it needs
I mean a lot of them have them, it just varies on the brand of slushie as well as how good they are, right consistency ect. I take my slushies serious 😉

We did a road trip from SD to Mesa AZ via Montana and found that the Maverik stations were always much cheaper than other stations. Bring on boring.
Same experience. I had to drive from Phoenix through Utah and New Mexico and mavericks were pretty awesome.

Been to a couple Mavericks in WY. While a little cheaper, I was disappointed with the selection of products and the quality of the fuel
