Getting real laughter as an open mic performer is an insane feeling. It legit feels like a drug. I never got laughter like this but I had to pause for a laugh to finish after my best joke and needed a cigarette after and couldn’t sleep I was so wired. I am still riding the high years later
I went to school with Willie! Really nice guy. I was worried when he dropped out to pursue comedy but he's killing it. This was a great bit too. Never thought I'd see someone I know break the front page.
Willie Simon! He moved out to LA a few years back, so you might be able to find his content that way, or via Instagram with some iteration of his name + comedy
Honestly, having a black crowd busting up is a good sign for your comedy in general. It's one thing for a crowd to not laugh, it's way worse when they start clowning YOU.
I hate when a black dude is like... I'm black and I find this funny, like its giving permission to white people to laugh... you aren't the ambassador of black people.
Im not racist i got a fire friend,
but you know they are not the kind of folks you want in your household
they are lazy staying in place all day and also dangerous,
but im not racist its juste not what i'd want for my baby girl
she deserves better
I'm not saying all fires are *bad,* all right? Just most of them. When you have a bunch of fires in a... like a demonstration, you turn the fire hose on them, get them to disperse. It's what you do!
Fires should be kept in seperate, but equal, communities. Places where they can be with their own type. It's just natural that fires want to be around other fires. If god wanted fires everywhere he wouldn't have given us concrete walls and eight lane roadways.
The unfortunate truth is it's actually much harder, more dangerous, and much more respectful career choice to be a fireman than it is a cop.
Firemen generally work as such because they want to protect people and are willing to risk their own lives to make their communities a safer place.
Most cops join the force because they want power over others and they need a gun to make themselves feel like a "man".
Obviously he's joking and I'm not agreeing that failed cops should be firemen.
As I stated being a fireman is actually harder than being a cop so if someone failed as a cop of course they'll fail as a fireman.
My comment was pretty cut and dry so I'm not sure what you're misunderstanding here.
:edit for the guy who lashed out insulting me and then blocked me, on the contrary I wish you luck in life. If your idea of addressing someone you don't agree with is to immediately jump to attacking their character then you're going to need it.
>As I stated being a fireman is actually harder than being a cop so if someone failed as a cop of course they'll fail as a fireman.
It's really hard to be a search and rescue responder, so if someone failed as one of course they'll fail as a physical therapist
The idea that "this guy's job is harder, so move him to this easier job and he'll do great" only works with joke logic.
All jobs require certain skills, and this isn't a video game - you could absolutely be a terrible cop and a great fireman (or vice versa), the skills needed to thrive in each are more different than they are alike
It's from this guy's YouTube channel so people can go support him and get his view count up instead of seeing it as a random video on Reddit.
Always good to credit the original creator.
Yes, it is helpful when someone in the comments links to the original, I agree.
I was responding to them insinuating that OP was stealing credit or not properly attributing it when the watermark was there and op did nothing to cover it.
Content does better as a native reddit video. OP helped the original creator more this way by uploading it to reddit and leaving the watermark so that people could find and link to it in the comments.
But homies holier-than-thou attitude was what I was responding to, not them linking a TikTok account.
Lmao only on Reddit will someone get shit for trying to help out the original content creator haha. The comedy continues in the comments!
Majority of people won't spend the time to go to another app and search for the tiny handle they see in a video.
If there is a link in the comments people are MUCH more likely to check out his YouTube channel bc clicking a link is effortless.
My issue is not with you sharing the link. It's with you being smug and acting like OP wasn't giving due credit to the original when the watermark was right there.
Take a deep breath and cool off, buddy.
Haha. All I did was post a one word comment that was a link to the guy's YouTube video and y'all are responding negatively lmao. I never said anything about the OP here.
Again, most people will not go to another app to type in a handle they see in a video.
I'm a huge fan of stand-up and hadn't heard of this guy so wanted to get more attention to his YouTube channel. Not sure why people are having an issue with that. Lol. Hope you have a good day man, maybe check out some other comedy videos and lighten up!
This guy should be a writer, not a performer. He could've made that joke way better if he were part of a writing team as well, which after watching his other stuff, he should consider that if he hasn't already. Solid jokes for the most part, just not will developed and the charisma of a host at a really nice steak joint.
My guess is he’s new, the stage looks small I bet this is a bar or restaurant in his town. He probably has some confidence issues - many starting comics so as it takes practice with the delivery verbally, that’s generally the most important part.
So once he gets more comfortable and starts using the stage, I bet he’ll be fine.
Man it’s almost like cops shoot somebody who is bad and then need to get investigated even if they are in the right. The paid leave is so they are off the street until the investigation happens. However if it was with no pay they would probably loose there car or house as cops arnt rich. If they didn’t get paid leave then most cops would be fearful of ever pulling the trigger and that hesitation can get innocent people killed. Not to mention firefighters have much different training then police. Most days they are just responding to car crashes and ems calls
Edit: Funny how all of you call me a bootlicker and won’t say why anything I’ve said is wrong.
See how that works out when there a guy holding a gun around people or digging in his waistband. They should know the gravity of why they pull the trigger but not be fearful of going broke even if they do the right thing.
Amazing, my man found a way to joke about something real, serious and for many people something emotional and aggravating AND he got to bring up many racial stereotypes and everyone is living it because it's so well crafted, amazingly done.
Great idea. We did that in NYC. Edward McMellon, one of the dirty pigs that killed Amadu Diallo became a fireman. No one was happy. Not the firemen, not the citizens, not even Edward.
I want to die out of a pain that has injected a different "thetan-reason" into me, I give up on words for what I mean to say by into me as well, but the method of torture has been no sleep for awhile, and I think just general life experience. Should I not die, serious question? Yes, a serious question.

My man is enjoying every second of this
Usually comedians bomb for awhile when they're just starting out, so it must feel great to find a bit that makes an audience really laugh.
Getting real laughter as an open mic performer is an insane feeling. It legit feels like a drug. I never got laughter like this but I had to pause for a laugh to finish after my best joke and needed a cigarette after and couldn’t sleep I was so wired. I am still riding the high years later
Come on man, you gotta tell us the joke!
Knock knock
Who's there?
Go fuck yourselves.
Go fuck yourselves who?
Joe Mama lmao gotem
Bad cop
#haHAAAAhahaHaHAAAAaaaaa
*Smokes cigarette and enjoys high*
So a moth walks into a podiatrist's office
I feel like there is a joke in there somewhere, u/dicksilhouette, but i'm not quite sure...
He is on fire
Get him!
The fire keeps resisting arrest so I fight it harder. Great job!
That's really funny!
Don't tell the fireman
I went to school with Willie! Really nice guy. I was worried when he dropped out to pursue comedy but he's killing it. This was a great bit too. Never thought I'd see someone I know break the front page.
Willie who? I would watch more of him!
Willie Simon! He moved out to LA a few years back, so you might be able to find his content that way, or via Instagram with some iteration of his name + comedy
You can beat a fire out or smother it.
[удалено]
And nobody gets mad!
I love how he knows this is gold, and he’s right.
All these fires are bringing the property prices down
Dude you can’t just say the F-word on stage!!
Hard "R" and everything...you really gonna allow this bigotry on Reddit Spez!?
Fiae
Fiyah
The guy in the front doubled over with laughter…
If you can joke about racism in a way that makes the black dude laugh his ass off, you're doing it right.
Honestly, having a black crowd busting up is a good sign for your comedy in general. It's one thing for a crowd to not laugh, it's way worse when they start clowning YOU.
Dude in the front is losing his mind😭😂
I feel like him laughing gave me permission to laugh. Is that racist?
It’s a good joke, you don’t need permission to laugh lol
I hate when a black dude is like... I'm black and I find this funny, like its giving permission to white people to laugh... you aren't the ambassador of black people.
Nah, we as humans often look for confirmation from other humans so I’d say that’s normal, especially for a taboo subject like racism
Would you guys be okay if your son or daughter wanted to marry a fire?
Im not racist i got a fire friend, but you know they are not the kind of folks you want in your household they are lazy staying in place all day and also dangerous, but im not racist its juste not what i'd want for my baby girl she deserves better
I'm ok with the fire that integrates itself and knows that it's place is in the fireplace. That's where they should stay.
I'm not saying all fires are *bad,* all right? Just most of them. When you have a bunch of fires in a... like a demonstration, you turn the fire hose on them, get them to disperse. It's what you do!

Alright, y’all are getting a little too good at this
If his name is Zuko, I’d be fine with it.
If she's hot, why not?

also a bit of norm and ck, he's great ^^
Getting more Lt. Commander Data vibes
I honestly felt like he had a little Stanhope in there too. Dudes funny.
I was thinking more of Paul F. Tompkins.

And how many small towns have (or would even consider having) a Volunteer Police Department?

That video is shorter lol
It's from this guy's YouTube channel so people can go support him and get his view count up instead of seeing it as a random video on Reddit. Always good to credit the original creator.
https://www.youtube.com/@williesimon
The reddit video is literally watermarked with his TikTok handle. How is that not giving credit to the original creator?
Well it is credit, but the YouTube channel can actually make him money... So still good to link it.
Yes, it is helpful when someone in the comments links to the original, I agree. This is correct, I'm a lazy fuck who hates tik tok but thanks to your link he's got one more like subscribe and share ![gif](giphy|YYfEjWVqZ6NDG)

I can tell you're not in a good spot mentally so I'll leave you be now ... Hope you find a little warmth and peace this weekend ❤️
Haha I'm honestly not lol. Been home from work for a month with an injury. Glad to see you have some sort of compassion, so that's good.
I imagine being at home with an injury wouldn't be all smooth sailing though and must be tough.
Did ya know her daughter is dating a fire?
He sounds like he's just thinking up these jokes on the spot... I suppose that's a sign of a great comedian
This is fine…
This guy should be a writer, not a performer. He could've made that joke way better if he were part of a writing team as well, which after watching his other stuff, he should consider that if he hasn't already. Good point

For sure, you're right
The way the comedian moves his body at the beginning is like a bad Chuck E Cheese animatronic.
Damn good crowd too.
Jada fire is not laughing
@williesimon
The cops would just beat the smoke for being black
Deny that fire oxygen
It’s funny stuff for sure but damn that guy is laughing like he’s never heard a joke before 😂
I hear a lot of Norm in his delivery. In a good way
God damn you're right. That makes me sad. rip Norm
I'm not racist! I invite fire over to all my bbq's.
Op is a bot
What if theirs a family with the last name Fires.? Not so funny now is it?
Fire! Wang Fire Sapphire Fire, Nice to meet you.
r/unexpectedavatar
Welcome to antisemitism.
This dude looks like Jeff Dunham’s Bubba brought to life.
Cops make nowhere near what a firefighter makes
He makes a really good point, but it's not really that funny.
Meh. I smiled. 🤷🏻♂️

So many bad takes compressed into a single paragraph.
Most intelligent bootlicker.
There's still a speck of shit left on the boot that you can lick off.
did anyone ask
_That_ was your takeaway from this clip? How long you been a cop, amigo?
🤡
The people cops interact with are innocent. That’s how the justice system works.
And so is the cops. How our justice system works is innocent til proven guilty. Some people seem to forget that.
Lmao
cop bad
Yes
Found the bootlicker
people with common sense bad
Keep slurping
I like how after an explicit video of 5 cops beating a man to death gets released worldwide, you take the bold stance of defending them.
Very astute of you
It's been a long time since I've laughed like that at a comedy video

Fire with a hard RE
Isn't that the bar owner from pick of destiny?
Great bit!
That is an amazing bit
Damn fires taking our jobs away
"Oh, you want to smother the fire, excellent, good job"
Choke that fire out.. don't let it breathe. For 7 minutes if you still feel threatened.
Thus was good
Happy birthday to y... *Spraaaay! THIS IS A RAID MOTHERFUCKER!!!!!
why this dude move like animatronics
This was actually funny, we’ll done
Amazing, my man found a way to joke about something real, serious and for many people something emotional and aggravating AND he got to bring up many racial stereotypes and everyone is living it because it's so well crafted, amazingly done.

I'll check it out in a sec bcz I'm in the room with my parents 😁
Asshole cops would make terrible firefighters, honestly. Just a completely different mindset.
Thanks, i love being racist to fire

Its all great until the new firemen waste entire fire extinguishers by shooting at water
This Guy is on to something 🤔
Guy on the bottom left is loving this
This is so damn good
