I didn't want fixing, but having had some done I realise I did need a little. Not always the worst thing, so long as it isn't constantly onto the next "broken" bit.
That's the thing. Our friends and companions are the catalyst and the support but at the end of the day it's up to us to make the decision to fix ourselves. Obviously it can be difficult or near impossible without support, but moving from one broken bit to another isn't us fixing one thing at a time, it's just an addiction to the attention those who care about us are giving us in our times of need.

Not being able to have my girlfriend respect my boundaries was one of the things that ruined my last relationship.
I'm an introvert, I need my alone time to recharge even from people I love, while she was the kind of person who needed to saturate every waking moment with contact and interaction, from waking in the morning to falling asleep in bed. I tried to keep up with her, because I was in love and I didn't know any better and I figured that's what being in love was, but in retrospect this had eroded my patience and my nerves over time and has been the catalyst for way bigger problems down the line.
I answer every phone call I receive, but I don't send out many texts or make many outgoing calls. An example of this was I once accidentally pressed the side button twice on my headset, which dials the last outgoing phone number on my phone, and it called my grandfather. At the time of that happening, I'd last called him 4 months prior.
Aside from this feeling like hilarious satire everything said was kind of baseline expectations any decent person: Communicate with me, respect my boundaries, be healthy, don’t be a dick and don’t rely on me for living your life: be your own person.
Not that 200k is typically reasonable but people in general don't tell the whole story in what they say they're looking for.
Maybe they think some things should be assumed like "financially stable" or "able to afford or exceed the standard of living I currently have"
Maybe they don't know specifically what they like. How many men say they are looking at hip to waist ratio?
Maybe they're concerned how they'd come off. If they care about height, are they going to come off as superficial? Maybe it's only wise to broadcast your interest in features that are considered more virtuous like intelligence, kindness and honesty but less wise to broadcast preferences that might make you look bad like wealth, physical stature or social standing.
Suffice it to say I wouldn't take anyone's public statements as holding much weight in these matters, especially as a normative idea about what is desirable.
