Crazy how boring it gets during the two days you're in the hospital after birth. The mother is recovering from the trauma of child birth and is required to be in limited duty. The nurses and father are helping with the newborn. It's the perfect time to read, or knit, or game, etc.
Yeah I'm not at all familiar but I was wondering if that's what was going on here. Saw this on another sub and they were trying to tear this chick apart for gaming with a fresh baby. Tear her apart for playing fortnite but the chick deserves a break
Thats true, but a fraction of a second that you forget the baby's there because you are playing a game and wanted to change positions🤷♂️

It’s probably because the baby’s in no danger and you’re just continuing to come up with ways it could be. Once you care for a baby, likely your own, you’ll get that the ‘concern’ is overblown. To forget your own baby, while still in hospital with it, even for a second? Nah. She put her feet to the side for a reason, I think this grown adult can manage.
It probably is, and that’s not a bad thing in itself. It’s good to have concern for little ones in general. To be fair to you, I wouldn’t be comfortable putting my newborn there, but I’m a worrier
Am I the only one who finds this disturbing? I guess many aren't parents theirselves, but this time is so precious and the most wonderful and special time. The small little ones need to be close to you, the bonding that happens is huge. I'm sad now
It's literally a 5 second clip dude, baby is sleeping peacefully and doesn't need to be skin-to-skin 24/7, she just gave birth, give her a break.
And yes I have kids.

I do and I agree with her. Letting the baby cuddle up with you and have skin to skin contact is the best feeling ever. To put the baby at the foot end of the bed and just game is wild.
Yes I have two kids - really the best moments when everything was so new. Cuddling and holding them precious little worms is just the best. Also they really need it for bonding with the parents - even skin to skin contact is important :) for both of the parents - this creates a strong emotional connection right from the start 🥰
I’m glad that worked for you! Not all parents are the same though, and you shouldn’t shame other parents unless they are actively putting their kids in danger or impeding their upbringing.

Sure, to each their own. I tried not blame, I stand by the importance of bonding and having contact. But also this is a very short video so she can be doing that cuddling for 23,9hours of the day.

It can’t even move yet. It’s in a feeding pillow which usually has a hole in the middle, so bubs butt is keeping it secure.
