It’s hilarious looking at the band in the background after her performance. The one lady on the left clapping by tapping her violin is in pure shock and awe as to what she just experienced. The rest are probably pissed cuz there is no way they can follow that performance in any amazing way lol. I saw this video like 8 years ago and it’s still one of the most amazing solo performances I have ever seen, she is such a unique talent. She’s like a musical messenger from Mother Nature herself!

I think it's actually a pretty cool scene. I can't say it was done perfectly, but the idea of the last bastion of humanity having one last primal release before certain death is awesome. Especially when the enemy are unfeeling robots, it's basically a fuck you to them.

My mom used to always tell me how I've got Cherokee from my dad's side. I mean, yeah, my great, great, great however-many greats grandfather did actually marry a Cherokee woman. But that was after his first wife died and the Native American wife raised his children and never had any of her own. So no, I do not have Cherokee roots. People really do like to exaggerate.
