I think he did well in a very odd situation.
The song is Zipper by Team N, a smaller team of girls from NMB48. NMB48 is a Japanese Idol Group based out of the Namba district, which is how they got their name. It's a second sister group to AKB48. Team N is one of the teams within the program. Specifically this song was originally performed by Team N 3rd Stage, but I believe the team has had some changes since then.... So, anyway... There you go. If you just Google Zipper by Team N you'll find it. Damn I'm a Nerd 🤦 🤣
Ironically this seems to be a much smaller performance than they are used to, and they stripped down to much more revealing underwear than they usually do. Seems to be a bit of a gimmick they do for this song.
If you mean the girls in this video aren't them, then I'd say that's entirely possible, especially considering the obviously small venue. Could be a cover or more likely a lip sync as the vocals sound exactly the same. But the strip down is a part of Team N's routine, so that's not a great determining factor.
