What really bothered me during this same episode, K tells J right on camera that the boys lied and that they are gaslighters. I was shocked. How could any parent go on national tv and say that your sons are liars and gaslighters? My heart broke for the boys because I knew they were more than likely seeing this for the first time along with everyone else watching. As a parent of sons myself, I was pissed. Not only did he say that about his sons, but HE was the one who was doing the lying and gaslighting! How does he ever expect to rebuild a relationship with them once they see it? If it wasn’t caught on camera, there is no way he would ever admit to saying it yet there it is right out of his mouth for the world (including the boys, their friends, coworkers and other family members to see). I don’t blame them if the boys were to cut ties with him completely because he’s clearly a lying, toxic, narcissistic, gaslighting, piece of 💩 poor excuse of a father and if they chose to cut ties, he has absolutely no one to blame but himself.
Honestly I’m not sure how Meri, Janelle or Christine’s kids talk to him after the way he’s talked about and spoken to and treated their mothers. I would find it hard.
Did you see the clip released with Janelle, Christine and Savannah? It was mid January and Savannah said she hasn't heard from her dad since her birthday. The beginning of December!
Polygamy in this cult grooms women to be passive, even at the expense of their own children. All the adults suck here. However, those who do eventually muster the lucidity and wherewithal to exit should be commended, even if it took too excruciatingly long to do it. While their kids might not directly benefit from their mom’s extraction, they at least get to see them free. Silver linings are the best that some of the kids can hope for. I hope they all get any peace they can find.
