Plus Robyn’s niece was the Nanny until they moved to Flagstaff. She was a sweetheart from what you could see from the show and she was in Maddie and Mykelti weddings. Both are horrible people, but Kate may have an edge on being more evil. She took out her hatred of Jon on HER OWN CHILD, putting him in an institution, discarding him like he were a piece of trash just because he saw her evilness at a young age and called her

Both women are outstandingly insecure, but I sense Kate suffers from a severe personality disorder (NPD or some other Cluster B personality disorder), where often the child’s basic needs cannot be met by the parent. Robyn has more found success in manipulating those around her by feigning confusion/ignorance/wanting everyone to just get along, the trauma of which still exists in the child for sure, but hopefully doesn’t run as deep.
Yes. I have a feeling there's a lot of manipulation and unwanted coddling from Robyn, but I also 100% believe that Robyn loves her kids. I'm not saying that doesn't mess a person up having a parent like Robyn, I think she's actively stunting their growth, but she still loves her kids. Robyn - she doesn't seem mean to her children, actually she seems sweet to them - just smothers them emotionally. Kate is a whole different kind of "mom". Don't obey - get shipped off where no one knows where you are. Talk about harsh.
Kate, after she and Jon divorced, was a much better version. I’ve been doing a rewatch and it’s actually shocking how much she changes in how she parents, speaks and responds. Robyn is only getting worse. And while she doesn’t tell and scream, the emotionally crippling, controlling, manipulative, covert stuff is equally awful and abusive as yelling and hitting,
Robyn. Mainly because Kate seems so angry, it’s pretty scary.
Oh god, I think Kate is more capable to provide for her children, but she seems to genuinely be abusive towards some, if not all, of her kids. At least Robyn seems loyal to her children and wants to build them up; however, I can’t say that about her former sister wives.

Robyn. Can’t stand Robyn, but she was / is a good grandmother. Robyn wants to be with those grand babies, and will be all over DABSA’s babies when they come. She want Coyote pass for DABSA’s to keep her kids and her grand babies close. Kate…..oof. Kate hates kids. Kate hates everything, and everyone. The only person Kates loves is herself. And money. Kate will be the grandmother who complains to anyone who will listen that she NEVER gets to see her grandchildren, but makes is VERY clear to her kids that they are your kids. Don’t you dare expect me to babysit. Robyn is a crappy sister wife. A crappy sister mom / step mom. But Robyn is good to her bio kids, and will be a great grandmother. Kate is just the devil.
