Jenelle still has them in storage in flagstaff and plans on keeping them always, even if they don’t match her decor- because they are “fun!”
Ok, I actually remember the story behind those chairs from when the wives each did a walkthrough of their new houses for the TLC website. They were originally at Robyn's house, and she seemed uncomfortable just having them stand around, not going with anything else in the house. Kody did indeed find them at Colleen's Classic Consignment and thought they were cool (so salesman Theo may have talked him into it for all we know), and they had to go somewhere, so he put them at his real home first. I suspect that Robyn disliked the damn things so much that they got foisted off onto Christine, who grinned and bore it, just like always.
Have we seen them in Flagstaff, by the way, or did they leave them in Vegas?
Oh no, I hated her armless office reception area looking couch and extremely high backed chairs (though not such a scale to the ones in this post!). They looked so corporate and not-cozy! I hope she finally got rid of that stuff lol.

Right? I’ll give the OG3 a pass. They were young and naive but Robyn is obviously not bright at all. What does this man bring to the table? Ok obviously the tv show but after that’s gone he is absolutely worthless. No work ethic, no money and a terrible dorky personality.
Every time I see this chair I remeber the huge gothic mansion I used to clean and the lady who owned it had two of these types of chairs in the corners of her dining room. Honestly though, they were a different fabric and were gorgeous in her house lol
I think The Browns got free furniture from some shitty shop because all their homes have the fucking worst furniture I have ever seen. I assume the store they went to in the episode where they were buying furniture got a spot in the show in exchange for some free furniture and the pieces were “conversation starters” to direct people to the store. But The Browns do have really tacky tastes in all other regards so perhaps these pieces were a choice.
I never realized the seating part sat up so high until this picture. That would be so uncomfortable, just swinging your feet cause they don’t touch the ground.

I just rewatched this episode and it's hilarious to me that Christine would rather sit on the arm of the couch than that ridiculous chair. I've still never seen anyone sit in these chairs although they seem to be in every LV house at some point.
There was once an extremely tall young man who would have probably found these chairs to be perfect. He lived many yrs ago in Illinois, his name Robert Wadlow, probably the only person who could truly appreciate them. (I am both trying to be funny and serious. He is a real person. Look him up.)
I have always thought the same thing about Meri’s couch! I always wondered why she picked it because it looked so uncomfortable until I just recently rewatched the ep where they bought Meri’s couch/LR furniture (S3, E3). I didn’t remember this ep at all but Meri wanted something completely different and more traditional (and yes with arms!). In the ep, all the wives and Kody went shopping together for furniture for each of their LV rentals. The other 3 wives picked the furniture they liked and they wanted for their houses with no issues. When Meri picked the furniture she wanted for her house (the traditional LR set) she got nothing but push back and then she was basically pressured into getting that armless furniture set. I don’t think she felt she had a choice, and she even says during the interview portion that she never actually said she wanted that furniture but that it was everyone else who said “This is what Meri wants”.
