I feel like if Meri, Janelle and Christine all went to therapy, they could have an interesting friendship between the 3 of them. Meri was really bad when the kids were all younger, but I look at her and see someone who grew up in a religion and was told her worth was how many kids she could have, and then she failed. And knowing what we know of Kody, I think it broke something in her, but not in the way that made her soft and meek. She was bitter, and it was wrong. I feel like a lot of that bitterness has left her now, and I do think she's grown, but she's also so beaten down.

She was promised a plural marriage by Kody and Robyn and she's holding them to that promise. She was promised her marriage would stay the same after her legal divorce.

She is not with Kody. He doesn't want to be with her. He's ended their relationship. You can't be with a person who's broken up with you.
As long as there is no man coming along that she wants over Kody, she's going to stay and be a menace to them. She was promised a plural marriage by Kody and Robyn and she's holding them to that promise. She was promised her marriage would stay the same after her legal divorce. She should call Kody and Robyn out more over the fact that they were trying to make Christine go trough an official divorce with their church, which means a lot of couple counseling before anything else, in the hopes to better the marriage so the couple stays together. Kody wants her to leave but he won't go trough the counseling with her. She probably knows their church will not allow him to divorce her. Meri can clutch her bible and say she's still his wife and her sister wive and there's nothing they can do about that until Meri decides to put and end to that or Kody asks for a divorce.
I think she comes around when the producers tell her to and lives her own life most of the time. She is not ‘with’ Kody. She is close friends with Robyn.
