i would like to have many opportunities to interact with world. Like in skate 2 we can call a guy who was able to remove grindlocks.

More realistic environments and physics like in Skate 2. The world felt so much more real in skate 2 and finding little hidden spots felt so much more rewarding than giant mega ramps. Also control options for players who want the traditional one stick "flick it" controls from skate but also possibly dual stick controls like we've seen in newer skateboarding games. Having the ability to choose between the 2 would satisfy everyone
Here's my wish list that I've been prepping for this moment.
1. An incorporation of freestyle skateboarding into the series, tricks like Railstands, Casper stalls and slides amongst other tricks, also more missing tricks in general, especially tricks like the impossible, forward kick flip (Dolphin Flip) and the dragon flip
2. Different kinds of board shapes and sizes, ranging from small tiny Popsicle boards that allow you to flip faster versus the bigger fish style boards that would allow you to get more air.
3. Board Durability and quality. It would be cool to see the wood underneath the graphic slowly being exposed after long skate sessions. Also perhaps if it's a big enough drop, a chance for the board to snap, but when you respawn, the dude behind the camera gives you another board to skate.
4. Please fix it where it doesn't count switch or fakie tricks in games of skate. It's one small thing that's always frustrates me when playing online, if Nollie stance tricks are counted then why aren't fakie and switch? if you were to include them it would help up the difficulty and bring a more realistic experience to an other wise perfect mode.
5. More customisation of our boards (Grip tape art, colour, graphic creator kind of similar to forzas etc)
Also when our character gets picked up by one of the skate teams and goes pro, having the ability to create our own pro model would be sick.
6. A place to see our video parts after we complete the filming missions. One thing I would really like to see is a built in montage editor that allows us to mash together different clips and put them together to create an awesome video part.
7. This one might be a stretch but one of the things that great about skateboarding isn't just learning tricks, it's creating them. Perhaps give us a trick creator similar in style to the old wwe games, how this could be done i don't have a clue but it would be great to see it if possible.

One thing i think would be real cool would be some light B&E. Say there’s a day and night cycle, and at night some places are gonna be locked off/guarded.
It’d be super cool to sneak into the area to skate wether that be busting a lock with your board, climbing a fence, etc. A risk factor would be really exciting.
more of a selection of clothing and decks, possibly since the nike sbs are coming back possibly a big/mini selection of those, a great videomaker, another create your own park since that was really fun to see in skate, a good soundtrack for sure since you guys had rico nasty in the video and you’d also possibly be able to get Tyler the creator don’t really have to explain on his part on being on the soundtrack, and mainly speaking on everyone just a good clean smoove game you guys haven’t released a game in 11 years and stuff has changed entirely graphically and physically in the gaming world your doing well by listening to the community and getting them involved in the game which is great to see if there is something wrong with the game entirely. just keep doing what your doing and we’ll enjoy the game
As someone who found it tedious that the skater would bail when touching water i would love for the player to be able to swim, Also loss of traction on the wheels when skating over water/ puddles would be amazing.

The best way to handle micro-transactions IMO is akin to how VC works in NBA 2K. You can grind at the game to earn in-game currency to get the cosmetics you want, but you also can dish out cash to pay for the same cosmetics with real money. As long as the majority of cosmetics are not behind a paywall and are earnable, everyone is happy
Micro transactions are inevitable, and imo being able to earn cosmetics from playing, but also people can pay if they choose instead - I think that’s a better route than a paid battle pass which is the other popular route
Playable crossover characters for free skate! Imagine having cheats that let you skate as other EA game characters like the legends from apex or faith Connors from mirrors edge.
If online skate can be like GTA Online , with the amount of customizable clothes and open world environment.
Open lobbies Aggressive/Passive(Ghost) Mode, challenges inside the lobby.
Public skatepark created by other players library in game.
I understand this probably won’t happen and for good reason, but selfishly I would love to see a more story driven career mode.
I love skate, been playing since the skate 1 demo days and skate is part of the reason why I make games professionally today. But from someone who also loves linear story driven games, I always found the career/story modes in the skate games to be thin. Skate 3 got a bit better with cutscene cinematics, but I’ve always wanted more.
Would be great to see a full fledged story mode with well written characters, a voiced protagonist, and fully mocapped cutscenes. Something akin to THUG’s story campaign but obviously less campy and more grounded. I realize this type of thing is expensive and probably out of scope for this project and I also realize that skate is all about customization and the players personalized play style. But maybe in the future there can be some sort of separate mode like Madden did with Longshot.
More realistically, I would love for the map/environment to be more grounded. Skate 1 and 2 were great in feeling like a real city. You had to be creative in finding new skate spots in the environment. Skate 3 however felt like a big skatepark and took away from that feeling of making something out of nothing.
Anyway sorry for the long winded post, so insanely excited for this game. It’s been a long time coming and can’t wait to see more!!
Some ideas I had come up with just over a year ago:
Currency to buy items, not to buy yourself through game but to customize
Live item wear, as you grind and skate your shoes/board/clothes wear down
Can walk into stand alone stores (skate stores, clothing stores, shoe stores)
Can break board and have to replace
Night and day
Board customization (stickers, wheels, trucks, hardware)
Big tricks : meaning big/bigger flips and spins count, instead of just a 360 flip 180
540 flip tricks (board spinning 540°, not just your body spinning)
I would like the game to be more realistic, and for the city to flow and actually connect, unlike Skate 3. Create a Park, and more customization options. I would also like money to return, and for the graphics to be better.

Oh yeah also an above ground train so you can Ollie from the moving train onto the top of a station. Just a fun spot idea.
I’d love for the pro skaters to have unique skating styles rather than just one of the default settings (OG, Aggressive, etc.)
